Ok, so not only is this guy a great player but a really good dude. we were hangin out last night in NYC and it's nuts.. we were just talking about this model, as being the best LP Jr ever made.. a 1958 Gibson Les Paul Jr. TV Model.. the finish was made that color cuz execs at Gibson wanted the guitar to "pop out" more on B&W TV than the sunburst models did.. cool, huh? Rare and RADD.

Yeah im pretty sure he just played pieces of eruption on a 53 year old guitar...sounded quite on point and never lost tune...i think thats about as much as you needed to see... a guitar that old performing like that? its quality. one pickup also...he could have rolled back on the tone and showed you a flat sound which im almost positive you've heard already on every other guitar...idk what exactly you were looking for in tone...sounded damn good for a 53 year old p90

Sorry, but it just sickens me to see a guy like him pick up a beautiful, vintage 1958 Les Paul TV Junior and play Van Halen licks while making those overstated faces. Do that with a Super-Strat. And here's an idea: Dial it down a bit, take a breath, and put some space between those notes. Dynamics is what separates the real players from the 'wankers'. Even street-racers don't use the nitrous until they really-need it. It's only for quick-boosts.
