I just got a high score on Nightmare using a different setup. You are better with getting combos with crossbow spam, so maybe you can do even better :). I started with a row of brimstone right at the top of the first stairs, followed by 2 rows of tar, then floor scorchers. 3 maces facing northward, and grinders and arrows on the walls. Last, 5 archers at the top of the next set of stairs. I DID use a more standard kill box at first, with barricades and tar, but only for the first few rounds
Oh, and also an extra horizontal facing floor scorcher in that little extra bit of space near the acid pit on each side. So, where B = brimstone, T = Tar, and S = Scorcher

With the maces overhead and the grinders/arrows on the walls. I tagged the ogres with a few 8 or 9 combos, and was even dinging the kobolds for 5s once I had the flame arrows going.
