The key is the pause button. If I am fast enough, I can hit it before, guess at the pronunciation, hear it, then hit the pause button again and pronounce it right.

yeah, doesn't work... I can read these sentences anywhere, the whole problem is the pronounce it correctly... guessing doesn't work so much in Portuguese..

I think speaking Portuguese correctly uses different facial muscles (around the jaw) not used in English speach. I excercise by repeating over and over (up to 100 times if necessary). Eventually, it will come. I sometimes have to sleep on it and come back the next day (sometimes for weeeks). But, be encouraged. You can do it if you don't give up. Keep going. The more you repeat, the more you learn.

I speak spanish, and yes you are right, the spanish uses similar muscles with the portugues, for us is a little eassier, but this is a matter of time and perseverance,

don't give up, I try to repeat as soon as I hear the pronuntiation.
