I brought this bear when I was pregnant in 1986. Yes we still have it and the heart still beats strong. We have the nightgown someplace but not sure what happened to the blanket that came with it :)

I got married on Valentine's Day 2008 and that morning I get a package. My husband got one off ebay MINT in ORIGINAL packaging. On my wedding day all I could talk about was my bear! *I bought an extra you know...just in case:0)
i've had 2.....this was favorite toy/bear growing up....i miss "buttons" alot and search ebay for another heart to heart bear quite often...my husband keeps throwing them away!!! : /

I'm 28 and have been sleeping with him ever since I got him (when I was 6)! He's the best! Although he's been through the laundry MANY times, and has a few holes/repairs, my heart to heart is #1!!!! I don't know when I'll ever be able to give him up! (neither does my husband...lol)
Never thought I would see this one again. Fact is, Heart to Heart bears build character. It kept that poor little bastard failed abortion staring out the window from thinking about his abusive deadbeat parents that just left him behind. It would be hilarious to stick an alarm clock taped time bomb inside one and watch the little puke get all happy, give it a big hug, then redecorate the house with a Jackson Pollack inspired intestine mural!
My mother couldn't afford to get me one of these when I was a kid. Then in 1998 I found a 20th Anniversary one on sale at a KB Toys store going out of business, so bought myself one. Now I can't find where to buy the batteries as I wore them out from sleeping with the bear.
I think it was a 15th anniversary one, or something like that. I forgot as I don't have the box anymore. However, I had a boyfriend whose heart beat felt like the one in my Heart to Heart Bear, and when we broke up I slept with that bear until the batteries wore out.
OMG...I can't believe you have this. My heart to heart bear is sleeping in bed next to me. And I'm 33 years old!!! He's in perfect condition. I still love this bear. Awesome find...thanks for posting!
I remember this commercial, about 20 years ago! I remember thinking that the children used in the commercial looked like my first cousins, especially the girl. She had the same hairstyle as my cousin did back then (late 1986, I believe), but I realize now that her face looked different.
I got mine in '85, the year I was born. Still love him to death and his heart still beats. :D :D

I got still have my heart to heart bear. He has the pink pyjamas, but the heart is gone. Got him at christmas 1986.....thats 24 years!

I still have my heart to heart bear, I lost the heart as well. And it no longer has the pajamas... But kept it, for well over 28 yrs!
