God i love how over the top this intro is, from the hammy voice acting to the goddamn techno bassline that kicks in towards the end. It just makes the game even more enjoyable on top of being genuinly quite unnerving at times, even if some aspects are a bit dated by todays standerds.

I got this game a couple of days ago off of eBay and discovered first hand that what I'd read online was true. Even after thirteen years, despite all the dated things, Clock Tower is still ridiculously scary. And that's a testament to its quality, if you ask me.

now the ps1 now that had some good bit in but the new one is just balls.

This game is Scary as hell. I remember having this when I was little. I was pretty sure I was about to have a heart attack and shit in my pants at the same time about 5 times. Wish I still had this game so much.

HUMAN also make S.O.S. for the SNES, and a remake called Septentrion out of the blue, i thought that the graphics would be similar to clock tower, but its not! theyre horrifing...

meaning. . .limited time to find susceptible weapons that may or MAY NOT work with the enemy, finding hiding places that aren't even safe at times, NO LEGIT WEAPONS like a handgun and of course. . .ROOMS THAT JUST TRAP YOU FROM SCISSORMAN. . .

It's pure "Worst Case Scenario" in every turn. . .unlike Clocktower 3 where felt like a Devil May Cry clone. . .Boss fights? Seriously?? not ultimate survival indeed. . .

Ahhh, PSX Clocktower. . .I wish they'd make more games like these. . .I know someone won't agree with me but Clocktower 3 was awful: Graphics were good but it didn't follow the formula that made the series famous--ULTIMATE SURVIVAL gameplay (at least Clocktower: Struggle Within was consistent--albeit the plotholes. . .) Man, I do wish they'd remake the first 2 games on PS3 or 360. . .it sure to pit the scare-factor record of Silent Hill or RE1 and 2. . .
