Most and the oldest greek textes say "... if a brother sins" - is much more general that Jesus can chenge us through our brothers and sisters. It describes the way as Galatiens 6, 1 and Romans 15 also does. Important !

Cont..John10:26.."But you do not believe BECAUSE you are not My sheep".. Jesus could have easily said, "you are not my sheep because you don't believe".. How about John17:9 "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours".. What about Acts16:14 "the Lord opened her heart to receive the things spoken by Paul".. So God had to open her heart in able for her to receive.. What if God doesn't open the Heart? Would anyone be appalled if I told the truth and said; God has already chosen all of His sheep and if your not one of them there is nothing you can do to change His mind? If you are appalled by that statement then you probably aren't of His sheep. This is the Gospel.

Hey George you need to read your bible and stop commenting on videos. A mans conversion has nothing to do with the presentation. In claiming that it does, you are saying that "man" is in control of Gods sheep. And that simply is not so. So take some advice, learn what the real gospel message is and proclaim it from the rooftops.

You are right, we do not know who God's elect are, this means the great commission is even more important. We must preach to all nations and peoples so those who are elect of God may hear the call to repentance.

The bible clearly states,"who so ever will, let him come" and also "come all ye unto me and in no wise will I cast you out" it seems that you are diving into a area that denies that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for. Pleas dont be to legalistic, just let your light so shine, that men may see your good work

I don't have a problem with "who ever will come".. but who decides who comes? John6:44 "No man can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.. John6:65 "No man can come to Me unless granted by the Father"..Acts2:39 "as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself".. This would have been a perfect time for Peter to affirm how you believe. But he left the decision up to God. Acts 13:48 "all that were appointed to eternal life believed".. Verse after verse. Shall I go on?

It is imperative that we get this right. This is the gospel My friend, That IF God draws a man, which is regeneration, He is FOREVER saved. Our salvation is not for us, but it is for Him! "therefore it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs but on God who has mercy"!!!!!! Praise be to God for His Sovereign Choice!! Even if God threw ALL of us in Hell, it would not diminish His Glory WHATSOEVER! We would all AHH His glory from Hell!

In my church the pastor's wife left the passtor to live with the sound guy and unfortunately though this woman has rejected her marriage, her church, and her God the pastor has not disciplined her and instead has asked the church she has rejected to tolerate her sin and to love her because he has chosen this form of action. It's an utter disgrace to the cross of Christ and grace has become a get out of jail free card. God and his precious sacrifice is put aside for personal feelings. Anathema!

Sadly, people today choose not to recognise that repentance means to turn away from one's sin and obey God's Word. The conversion that then takes place is the grace of God moving us to continue to repent daily. The message has been skewed and people seem to believe that repentance means that you are free to continue on without change - as though forgiveness is all that is required.

You are 100% right one, BUT in our culture today this is most of the time unrealistic. With the "nut cases" that position themselves in church authority your dealing with more than most you can handle biblically. However, your insights are reasonable and right on.

I can see where it all falls apart, as its SO hard to get people into the church at all. So then elders in your churches lower the bar of what is required in your membership.. or the church justifies ungodly behavior as `liberty in Christ` ... & on & on & on the death spiral goes till we get a First Unity Community Grace Squishy Wishy Fellowship Church.

Yes. The church has to get back to this or we will stay in this situation where unholiness is the norm. If we don't uphold the Lord' standard in the church we can't expect to effect change in society.
