Seems to me his girlfriend was pregnant and there was something that happened and she was in some accident with him feeling it was his fault or random chance and she miscarried and they then had the baby cremated (the box)(unborn child), and he can't get over the regret at having done whatever was done and blames himself (45). Then again I may not have a damn clue about this song , but it's still great . :)
@fortinjoshua I believe and keep in mind this is what i believe, the box is supposed to represent EMOTIONS. Cause if you listen to the lyrics he speaks of the box, and its wrapped in guilt and sealed up tight. So in essence his emotions are wrapped up inside of the box where he feels guilt an wants to seal off his emotions to the world. But thats just MY take, i don't know what anybody else feels lol

Seems to me his girlfriend was pregnant and there was something that happened and she was in some accident with him feeling it was his fault or random chance and she miscarried and they then had the baby cremated (the box)(unborn child), and he can't get over the regret at having done whatever was done and blames himself (45). Then again I may not have a damn clue about this song , but it's still great . :)

@fortinjoshua I believe and keep in mind this is what i believe, the box is supposed to represent EMOTIONS. Cause if you listen to the lyrics he speaks of the box, and its wrapped in guilt and sealed up tight. So in essence his emotions are wrapped up inside of the box where he feels guilt an wants to seal off his emotions to the world. But thats just MY take, i don't know what anybody else feels lol

@MysticLoveAngel in our religion class we discussed abortion very often. and the box probably refers to what the "doctors" put the baby's corpse in. more often than not the baby ends us bloody little chunks of skiing, bone, organs and is just thrown into the trash. :-<

@candygirl121340 dear candy, I am an identical twin. after i was born i did not see my sister until a week later. my family took a picture of the reuniting and my sister and i recognized each other. The fact that i knew my sister the first time ever seeing her is proof that babies are alive inside the womb. therefor the baby is not just a small blastula of cells, the baby is a human.

It's completely undeveloped. And it's different when something happens later in the pregnancy. Adult stem cells are less diverse, they do not form spontaneous differentiation of cells as embryonic stem cells, but is an undifferentiated cell that in cases of need can only produce certain cells to heal the body. The latter cell discussed, the adult stem cell has shown more results because its easier to manipulate.
