This song is so beautiful... this song is how I feel for my little sisters. They're 7 this year, and I'll be leaving for Uni at the end of the year... I can't stand the thought of leaving them, because I've been the one who raised them for 7 years. But I will always be there when they need me.

My son, isaac used to sing me this song with tears streaming down his face... Brother Bear 2 was one of his favorites he would want during his chemotherapy treatments back in 2007... I randomly watched Brother Bear 2 and was just so surprised to hear a song so beautiful come out of a straight-to-DVD sequel, it's now one of my all-time favorite songs overall, the lyrics are simple, yet very powerful. :)

My mother wants this song sung at her funeral and my brother told me that i should sing it. I kindly declined because i didnt know if she wanted it sung by Melissa Etheridge herself, a recording, or someone to sing it. Three days later my mom told me she wanted me to sing it when she dies.

I'm working on a few stories. One of them a little girl is the main character. And the world definitely is unfair towards her at some points. All who try to protect her get killed, for the evil ones will do anything to kill her. First her father dies - because he was deceived. Because of a mistake. An Admiral of her enemies dies, for he was sure to be executed if he didn't die in battle. Then here brother gets killed. But even in death they stay with her.
