It's strange seeing Alex with a female friend (besides Lillian). Why were she and Sonni both so upset about Reva? Was this during the writers strike? Did Sonni have her split personality at this time? I guess this must have been when Alan Michael first showed up.
No, by this time, Sonni had been "cured" of her multiple personality disorder (she had previously taken on the persona of her evil sister, Solita, if I remember correctly)...this was Summer 1988...Alan-Michael had been on the show for a year by this point...pretty sure that this was during the strike...
Thank you for filling in the gaps. I would love to see this storyline from start to finish, it's so complicated. Sonni was such a fascinating character.
Sadly, the story was extremely boring in the beginning...for months, Sonni would sit in her bedroom, smoking cigarettes, and plotting with Will Jeffries...she had no interaction with any other characters on GL except Josh and Will...trust me, it was tedious, and I couldn't wait for it to be over...actually, the story started to pick up during the writer's strike... Michelle Forbes was mesmerizing in the part, though.

I'm so glad you included the mid-program bumper at 2:00. I fondly recall coming home around that time of day. The glass letters are my favorite version.

WCAU in Philly air GL at 3pm (eastern time)back in the '80s. Same thing at it was here in Chicago and New York.
