Ah, back in the days when an encycopedia volume wouldn't fit on a CD or two. Actually, there were a few, but CD-ROMs were too expensive for most people back in those days. It was probably cheaper to just buy the Encyclopedia Brittanica set.
"I always wanted to be a top secret agent code name GOAT FART you know get through Checkpoint Charlie by the STINK OF MY SHIT" That's what he meant to say, please post the unedited commercial!
This guy looks like he couldn't get over not getting picked to play ben seaver on growing pains. He only wishes his encyclopaedia britannica contained an entire volume on Tracey Gold.
I couldn't figure out this commercial. What were they going for? In their minds, they they think this guy was cool or funny? This ad was written by someone and was approved by others. Amazing.
the Encyclopedia (which they spell with ash or æ cuz they think they're so special) Britannica has more errors than Wikipedia. It also is for rich people who are too ignorant to understand anything.
They did 3 Encyclopedia Britannica commercials featuring this guy. The first one was in 1988, the second one in 1989. And This one was in either 1990 or 1991. It brings back a lot of memories seeing this and hearing the voiceover.
This is Stan Freberg and his son Donovan.
