Oh, shut up! Stupid Report. It's rated E10+ (PG for ACB) for Mild themes and violence. Themes, being adoption and fat jokes, and talking about murder and death and skeletons. And the fact that you are trapped, and the game is actually rather dark. And violence for the turrets and low blood that results from falls and being shot. the adopted line is in reference to the first game, where glados makes fun of you for being adopted. that game was rated T for teen. the adopted line was something we call "black humor"

Okay, the line is a bit out there, though it is funny. However, it's nothing to cry about to the news. There are plenty worse games on the market with far more offensive material and this is what makes it? And the same joke is battered a number of times. Also, you have no right to be saying that that father is "butthurt". He's just doing what he thinks is best for his daughter. His actions were very tactless though. That dad was too butthurt to realize GlaDOS says "What's wrong with being adopted" and "It's terrible that you're adopted." Also Wheatley says "Some of my friends are adopted." The game never said it was bad to be adopted.

I'm adopted; and I think the line in the game isn't a big deal. However, you berating this guy is ridiculous. I promise you have no idea unless your adopted or an adoptive parent, how critical that stage in life is. Probably not news worthy. However, I do think other parents were warned about something that they might not want their kids exposed to. So, that's a good thing. All in all, you should cut that guy some friggen slack though! He adopted a needy girl from China for Christ sake! lol

Seriously, this is A GAME. It's not concerning that kid who was playing. It was concerning Chell, the main character. Wheatly was insulting HER, not the 10-year-old child. I think there may be better stories out there than this. Besides, they're right, the rating says "E10+"!

It's like saying a rated "M" game is too inappropiate for my child! Portal 2 has mild language, and some dark/crude humor. E10+ MEANS that people who are 10 or older are the reccomended age level. Problem solved.

Why do they quote that one part? They mentioned adoption so many times in that game. Oh, right. That was the most childish one, so they just tried to cover up the sophisticated humor of this game, and just make it out to be a childish piece of shit. Plus, the daughter is 10. She is ASIAN. The reporters don't get that the adopted child in the game was able to take DOWN the guy who said that, and was awesome enough to in the first place. I'd be proud to be adopted after I finished the game, which that family obviously did not do.
