They have 4 wheel air suspension and people tend to mess with the ride height sensor to make it look how they like, or the bags in the rear aren't holding air.
@suprbird Drop it in 1st, take it to 25 mph or above, then pop it into D and back to 1st quickly, there's 2nd gear. If you're too low on speed it'll kickdown into 1st again. Then to 3rd, just put it back into drive. OD won't stay in if you're at wide open, it'll kick down to 3rd and stay there until you let off the gas just a bit.
i no where there is one of these cars just siting in someones drive way but its slamed too the ground well on grass. i think the guy said it had airbags and they were fucked up.
that is a common problem with them thats where mine is sitting right now and the shop i took it to told me it was $2,300.00 to fix it so it sits till i can get it fixed
@ham1908t i would have man but its more than 200 for the bags i need all 4 and the lines are shot so is the compessor which is like 600 from ford and thats the only place u can get them but it dosnt matter i dont have the car any more
yeah my hole air ride was bad but the compressor still lifted the car when that went thats when i found out there where leaks every where eles in the system

On one of them I did 1 burnout then the oil was watered out, I traded it it and another car off and when they went to change the head gasket it turns out both head gaskets were blown and both heads were cracked and I never over heated it and it was fine before that one burnout and it wasn't a high RPM long burnout
does any one know it headers off a mustang would fit a mark vii without any major modifications...please answer...ive asked many other people and got no answer thanks
i miss my mark vii so bad:( the transmission died and i couldnt afford to fix it

how did you dyno it? cuz i know mines and auto but it doesnt have 2nd gear, its first, drive, overdrive, etc...howd they keep it in 2nd?

It was converted to a 5 speed manual. And cars are dyno'ed in 4th, not 2nd gear.

You can eliminate the airbags and put coil spring under it for $500-$700.

dude just buy new airbags for like $200a set and jack the car up with a floor jack and change them out! or run new air lines!?

The '87s had 200hp/285tq at the crank.
The 88+ had 225hp/300tq at the crank.

Not even close. That's a rebuilt motor, after market cam, ported heads, intake, etc.
They come 225hp/300tq at the crank stock.

Well, I'll give you some more ammo..
It put down 394/380 last Thursday at the dyno. I have a video of the 12.8 pass it made down in Georgia before it blew a head gasket.
So, in short, no. Go for it. lol
