Hey Desiree I guess your done with your orthodontic treatment because i've seen all your videos until journal 9 and you said only a few more months it's now 2008 it's been MORE THAN A FEW MONTHS so DON'T forget to make a video when your done with orthodontic treaatment to see how your teeth are done. PLEASE REPLY. because im getting my braces next month in February 2008 one month from now. AND YES IM SHARING MY BRACES EXPERIENSES TOO.

question: do you know what is a orthodontic headgear i want to know because i might get it./?? I'm so curious tell me if it is ugly in public thank you hope you reply back . (question for desiree)

Orthodontic headgear is something that goes around your head, attaches to the bracs somehow at the sides in front. I have not required it, and most orthodontists do not even use this now...but likely if you 'google' it you'll find some useful info.

what is this going to end up costing? I was told 6k for invisalign and the same for wire braces. This seems a bit high since my teeth are not that bad.

it will be between 5 and 6K (Canadian). ... and too, mine weer not that bad, but, it is just an expensive thing.

I still have them on... been too busy with various aspects of life to update, I see the orthodontist tomorrow, may squeeze in a vid sometime in the next week.

i have been watching your videos constantly.

its alot of help because there is not very many videos out there. im getting braces within the next month. the orthadontist and he said 4500$ no teeth pulled and 14 to 16 months. which is a redicules price because my teeth are not that bad. so im going to 4 other orthos to see the cheapest one. i will be making videos just like you are. and i hope you get a chance to watch them! thanks.

Don't necessarily go for cheap, there is some talent required for good orthodontics, so, if you can talk to others in your area that have been through it maybe you can get some recommendations based on the orthodontists ability, FSWproductions.

yes, you can chew gum - but some gum sticks so it is not at all enjoyable, too much cleaning to do of the brackets and wires if this happens!

so when you get them off will you need a permanent bonded retainer?

I don't yet know... I will need some kind of retainer, I believe from what the doc has said that I'll be getting one that is not permanent.

I have power chains on the top, because I had teeth pulled, they work fast!
