    Grandma Mary

  • omg i love you and i love you're guitar <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Very great cool!

  • what chords you use to play that song ?

  • @divinemaster100 looks like A6, D7, E9, D9 ??

  • I've gotta pair of PhatCats in my artcore and it's got a severe case of twang mixed with h'bucker kerrang--a righteous mix!!

  • you should rock on an Rockabilly guitar!

    it isn´t a jazzabilly- guitar, isn´t it?

  • So what exactly is a rockabilly guitar? Most guitar that was made famous by rockabilly guitarists were made for c/w and jazz. That goes for the 6120, Stratocaster and Tele, basically all of them.

The trick is in the string setup and reverb. The AFS75T is a great rockabilly guitar.

  • @meharidude what string set up would u recomend? high, low or what?

and how deep the reverb? thanks!

  • @rawrfosho

A set of 0.10-0.46 is a good starting point, however some players used heavier string, Scotty Moore for instance. For more twang use lighter gauge. I use fender 50XL (11-14-22-30-40-50). You have to experiment with your reverb or echo.

A set of TV Jones Filtertrons or even GFS Retrotron Nashville or Liverpool pickups would get you closer to the vintage Gretsch sound. I use a fender Atomic at the bridge. Not perfect but better than the Ibanez one.

  • It's slimline, not a big box, it's got a Bigsby, and he's put TV Jones in there...Of course it's a rockabilly guitar. Great post BTW, wondered how TV Jones would sound in mine.

  • @dirtpezz An AFS75T with those Filtertronish pickups is about as Rockabilly as it gets on a budget. It is, for all intents and purposes, a "poor man's" Gretsch 5120.

  • Thats All Right Mama with Mystery train mix sounds like to me at first

  • megga twinking

  • great vid 5*

  • can anyone tell me what song this is and how much an artcore will cost in the uk? cheers

  • Not sure but close to Elvis' That's Alright Mama.

  • I got this same guitar but in white for $800 Australian, so that's around £350

  • @JGTMTE You got robbed.

  • I don't know about the UK, but I just bought a mint condition AFS75T for $150.00 on Craigslist.

  • Great guitar i love mine.

i need to change the pickups on mine though.

    maybe some P90s

  • My kind of Music.

Really nice and that Tone is amazing.

    I will check back again.

    5 Stars *****

  • rockabily = hardest to play, best to lisent to!

  • I can think of other styles being much more difficult than rockabilly, but I do agree about it being the best to listen to.

  • É o guitarrista do Bah Tchê e the Bellairs !!!

  • Rock-a-Billy is the best style in the world.

  • thanks for pointing that out.

    add me on youtube.

  • @ssiipple i think, thanks man!

  • What's this song ?

  • Was that originally the Artcore WITHOUT the faux Bigsby? The ones WITH them are an Inch thinner in the body. I was considering buying the thicker and doing the mods to Bigsby and TV Jones. If that's what you've done here, I'm more apt to try it, seeing as that's a pretty nice finished product! The stock pickups in the Artcores are pretty raw, but very little compares to those TV's!

  • "faux" Bigsby? the Ibanez tremolo is actually a licensed Bigsby..And in some respects even better than the original. But yes, if the AF75 came with a tremomlo i'd bought that instead of my AFS75T.

  • that is one shiny guitar

  • those artcore bridge pickups are like time machines to the 50s.

  • Yea, too bad those aren't Artcore pickups you're hearing. You apparently didn't read the description.

  • Is that an ibanez artcore??

    I like your style dude.

  • nice
