There's on doubt that Socialism doesn't work. There's no doubt that the US policies towards Cuba is not good for anyone. Painting this as a liberal vs. conservative thing is flawed. The US spurted a corrupt mafia controlled government before Castro why not after? How many of the problems in Cuba are because of the embargo? There's a difference between forced support and legitimate support. Fascist dictators often suppress other views, therefore the public is brainwashed to support the dictator. If someone is threatening to send you to a prison or to an execution, the support is coerced, therefore the support is not necessarily legitimate.
