Daffyd is my favorite character. There are people exactly like this in America too: gays (and often lesbians) who are absolutely enamored and OBSESSED with playing the victim of imagined homophobia, and they love to sit and sulk when it's pointed out that no one's trying to rain on their parade. All the mentality of a ten-year-old and not nearly as fun to hang with.
