Too bad you didn't like La Paz. Looking at your vid, i think you had bad luck with the food because that does not look like a traditional dish, as I am a Pacena. About the people, yes, the people in the markets are not warm ... cultural clash...the local people are stoic for historical reasons and they tire of tourists taking pics of them as if they are some anthropological study. I think you needed to know some Bolivians living there to give you a feel of the people and customs.
Create a video response or Post i do think puma punku the technology in this dont add up the red sand stone was a sub bace for the bigger stones to sit on. the descriptive geometry.at PUMAPUNKU is crazy to do that to day you need C.A.D you cant just cum up with this shit out of thin air development of this skill needs a long time a hell of a long time it just dont add up i think this technology was past on to man a long long time ago. descriptive geometry. is very hard going to master
i am going to la paz this year and your vid was cool to see and get sum feel for la paz food is one thing you need to no a bit a bout wen going to a new place as well as the history a very good vid thanks
solomon @ nabi sulaiman can control jinns, ty built solomon palaces, i think ancient ppl practice black magic built their stunning site, even in this modern time we still can't explain how could this happen,
It´s good that you have visited the mysterious ruins of Tiwanaku, every time I went there I felt another sensation.
La Paz is not only the turistic street you went in , one should explore north , sud, east and west, and make a real hiking. there are such a variety of food and quality, of course you will not find a mac´ donalds but at least a burger king for your special palate
Again the tourist visitor to La Paz says, the food is gream and the city is not worth visiting, and so forth. intitle to own opinion. Having said that, a report from the State department asserts that the US Ambassy in La Paz has more personnel than any other city in South America, if La Paz was not that important whould so much secrecy from the US government?
The outer space travellers who descended on tiwanacu had a formula like that of the cement mix the romans had..but that formula is unknown to earthlings, noone on earth knows, the formula is out of this planet, the stones once they were like wet cement before they dry so hard, this explains the precision of the work.
@1marcelo I have been called many things. In any case, if you visit Bolivia sometime. Take a taxi cab to the town of Choro in the outskirts of the City of Oruro, and ask the locals what happened in 1969 or sometime around 1970. Ask they about the different types of lights they saw and the place where where ground was burned out and grass no longer grows. You will be very surprised what those locals saw, but being Bolivia a poor country noone really cares.
@marshalljamesmills The problem is people like this guy take as a premise that the ancient Aimara didn't have the brains to build up Tiwanaku and that is racism. On top of the racism is the stupid idea that aliens built it. Guys like this don't accept any scientific explanation. I truly despise him.
@1marcelo You just assume they did which is naive . I have been collecting minerals for decades . Even with the best hardened steel hammers and chisels you could not do recessed patterns like that in diorite and have them come out that perfect . They may have done it but it was done with a technology that is inexplicible .The geometry and precision it just not explanable for farmers to be doing . If the Aimara did it why don't they do it anymore? Why can't they tell us how they did it .
@tourmalinehunter Only because you can't explain how the Aimara did it does not mean they did not do it. Who is naive? Your argument is racist. The present day Aimaras can't explain how they did it because they have been decimated by the Spanish.
@1marcelo Anyone who disagrees with you is racist .Am I racist If I am amazed at what the Maya accomplished ? No . It is well established the the Aimaras had no written language and lacked the complex geometry to pull this off . Get over yourself .You all laugh at the ancient alien theory . Hey alot of it sounds bogus to me too . The stone speaks for itself .Explain it then Don't just say "they could do that you racist pig" . Explain how they could do it .With stone tools and twine .
@1marcelo You act like people like me have no feelings of horror at what the spanish did . I do . Same as I feel about what happened here in America . It makes me sick .Manifest destiny is the worst kind of evil . We killed everyone and took thier land because God wanted us to . It's just a coincidenc that they had tons of gold silver and gems .It breaks my heart . Maybe the Aimara had a secret knowlege . Maybe alot of the ancients did , but where did they get it ? Where did it go ?
I would not hesitate to say that this couple is in the very small minority of visitors to La Paz who've not found it to be fascinating. But, whatever. Can't please everyone. These series of videos they posted are good, from my perspective. Just found it somewhat curious that several times they would say a place is "fascinating" and in their next breath say "maybe not worth it" going there. Also, loved their pronounciation of Potosi hahaha. Cute gringuitos. Ya'll come back, ya hear!

La Paz is not for everyone, but if you are a corporation like France's Ballore of South Korea or a japanese firm, La Paz is the place to go to start the Lithum extraction business. This gentleman is a simple tourist with very common tastes, not a scientist not a businessman or researcher like Alan Kolata from Yale University. La Paz has the tiwanaku museum where u can see al sorts of items from the tiwanacu civilization.
interesting. Last I knew, Bolivia was refusing to allow any foreign involvement in its lithium extracting business. Numerous international corporations tried to develop lithium extraction in the 1980-90s, but met strict gov. opp.
I also never heard about the tiwanaku museum in La Paz. The museum near Tiwanaku has a few remaining artifacts. However, few artifacts remain from that culture since the spanish took everything of possible value, even some of the stonework.
@mahatmadonnie The museum is in El Prado avenue close by a theatre Monje Campero. There is so much ruins in Bolivia that it will take 3 thousands yrs to uncover all. If u are back to Bolivia go to Aullagas in the altiplano in Oruro province, there are made made ancient stones and glyphs on the walls, the stones are ancient, I an have photos of them. far away from tiwanacu there is another village that holds more rudimentary monoliths as well, fortunately I have pictures of them as well.
