I like Coldplay WAY more than Slipknot. Coldplays Rush of Blood to the Head was an excellent album. Although the original Slipknot album wasnt bad. They were the begining of late 90's new metal with Coal Chamber, Fear Factory, Static X, and Powerman 5000 lead all by KoRn of course. i like coldplay and love slipknot but Slipknot is far more diverse and the new coldplay album is boring...like the songs but as does creed it gets boring real fast...my mom loves it tho, but this is the thing: Good or bad, better or worse is a PERSONAL concept so you can't really speak for nowone but yourself

Um, just putting the record straight. Slipknot and Coldplay have both won grammys. Slipknot in 2004 for "Best Metal Performance" and if you were watching the 2008 Grammys, you already know about Coldplay.

everyone on here is ripping on slipknot like they said something... corey taylor was the one that said something and he has the right to... he sings for two bands that have attract and gratify different audiences.. he also sings does side jobs that are completely unbelievable, download hid cover songs, and then think about apocalyptico he had a huge hit singing with them.. his song lyrics are great and martin will never compare unless he does different styles instead of the pop rock he does

2. Slipknot has some of the most progressive music and I would love to see the drummer from CP keep up with any of the drummers from Slipknot, or even the Guitarist for that matter.
3. Slipknot has 9 members because they are a unit. You need that many people to push themselves to the edge to find the type of music that Slipknot has given us.
4.Slipknot left more talent in their old jumpsuits then anyone from Coldplay could ever wish to have.
