@ Ninjatuna101 When one says "ferrari of shotguns" it brings to mind Holland and Holland's, Purdy's, Merkel's, and Grulla's, not Beretta's; though Beretta's are fine guns and I would be proud to own one. I think of farrari's as being out of the average mans price range, so to classify a shotgun as "the ferrari of shotguns" it too should be out of the average mans price range. Just a thought.
Thanks for the lesson. This is my first over / under and I was having a tough time finding instructions on how to clean the (reciever) portion of the gun. I don't believe you mentioned the brand name of the shotgun you cleaaned. was it a Danber? Looked like it from the scrolling...
@18cuzbro no, this is a Beretta Silver Pigeon S you might be thinking of Lanber? they have a more traditional bolting system on a lump under the barrels, the Beretta is quite unique in having licking pine to secure the barrels, I know of only one other manufacturer who uses this system, though there may be another I haven't come across..
@111MadMan111 complete clean of barrels, inside and out, all exposed metal work- every time, oiling and cleaning stock every 6 months or so, service- if something breaks!
Great 4 part video. I'm actually going to buy this model of shotgun very soon. I watched your review on the Silver Pigeon and I very much like the way its built. One of my friends from Czech Republic told me a Beretta is like the Ferrari of shotguns
Btw, great Video danebrewer!
