InDesign Basics - Set up master page

Being new to InDesign this tutorial gave me some insights into fundamentals that will be useful for some time to come. The volume was a little low on this though.

? I was watching, you're about to show how to unlock the master page. Next thing ya know, you said, phenomenal and the vid was over. How do you override the master page? What was the short cut. Oh and while we are on shortcuts, I am use a MacBook Pro. I don't have the same shortcut for deletes (the boxy looking z with the dash just above it off to the right). I do not have it on my keyboard. Thanks

Helpful tutorial, but you've got to work on your sound. I had it on full blast and still could barely hear.

you have to hold command shift while clicking (or double clicking) on the object you want to edit - this also frees the object from the master page.

So how do you edit the text that is created in the Master Pages in the document pages? I have been searching far and wide for this answer. So when you video stopped right before you gave us that nugget I couldn't believe it. So what's the answer?

For people without a left audio channel, this video has hardly any sound. I had to crank up the volume to max in order to even barely hear anything you're saying. Would it be possible for you to do the audio?
