overhyped school. went there in the 90s. very classist and like thisiszaphodbeeblebr said snobbish. had a couple of drunk teachers. My world away from school was totally different. Waste of money
I went to Emanuel School 1974 -1979. ineffective teachers, some drunk. Snobbism - couldn't get into the rowing/rugby/elite teams, unless your father had been. Did nothing for my education. Left with one CSE. Thrown on the scrap heap by Emanuel. But I wouldn't give in. Went to tertiary education, gained all the qualifications I need.
Now a Consultant Clinical Psychiatrist, no thanks to Emanuel, but despite of.

I'm not surprised about the UK's psychiatric incompetence. Fool!....Three words come to mind...Sad Miserable Cunt! Over 700 other students had the same experience, including myself! But I wouldn't exchange it for anything else. In fact, I couldn't be more proud! Life is what you make it...you don't get it handed to you on a plate! Being nearly 50, surely you would have realised it by now.
