Loved this episode... finally we got a chance to see cheryl mourning over her stupidity for not believing Lynsey... in the actual show it was like, oh im sorry lets be friends again, whereas this was more poetic and more what i hoped for... although obviously im glad lynsey survived!!! just wish we had seen more of people grovelling to her all emotional because they didnt believe her, rather than a quick mention then nothing... i mean especially ethan, where was his apology?! x

I really wish when they played Steph's song they would have focused, for god forbid a few minutes, on Frankie. I was getting really emotional when she played it because I remember exactly what it was like last year when she thought Steph had run out of time for her, but then they started showing all the other characters like Ricky and Texas, it took away from it for me. I know interaction is important, but god, don't forget raw emotion.

And Hollyoaks does it again, really great stuff! This episode came out of the blue and really surprised me. I hadn't paid much attention to Doug until now, and it was good to have a snapshot of him and his demons for an episode. The creation of the alternative Hollyoaks was brilliant, really well realised, dark and atmospheric, and the alternative fates for the characters really well done. Music was superb, the ending emotional and happy - it had it all, well done Hollyoaks :)

cried all through this episode, best one ever, i love doug and lynsey soo much, they should buy matching jumpers ;) when he goes "wait, goodbye i need to say goodbye" it is so sad i was crying so hard i was shaking, poor lad - i reckon its the songs that make you cry in hollyoaks they just make whats happening even sadder in a way corrie doesn't.

That was the most beautiful episode. I could not stop crying. Thank goodness I'm home watching this and not at work because my eyes are bloodshot from the tears. LOL!!! This episode ranks right up there with John Paul and Craig's sunset ending. BTW: I love the children singing "With or Without You." That was beautifully done. Wish I could hear the entire song with their voices.

@CookieMonster24621 oh steph was always one of the funniest characters to me, even in this episode she was being her old self with the jokes, lol. She was also pretty dear to me because of her stance on her brother, craig, coming out to the family--she was the only one who was really supportive without question from the start. One of my fave quotes from her: "My brother's gayer than yours." LOL she's awesome! It brought back some old memories seeing her again, got me all teary eyed :)
