A reason why they may not have got big in USA is that they were on the Piccadilly Label in UK , which specialised in licensing US written tunes for its Artistes, the licence may have included restrictions on the resale of the recorded product back to certain terrotories. They seem to have been well known in Germany like quite a few other british bands.
obviously poorly managed,,these guy's were good! We had a lot of talent come over from england in the early 60's..these guy's missed the boat,,makes me wonder how many other's had poor management,,that coupled with idiot's here,,,like the one's at decca and capitol records who thought the Beatles just weren't good enough..sheeeeesh!!
Hawk these guys are very underated a great Brummie Group indeed. What about the Applejacks though weren't they from Birmingham also?? Also what the Berries doing these days and what happend to the Orignal Lead singer??
These days they are more of a comedy act than a singing act, and they are not fronted by the 120 kilo comedy vocalist Jay Mcgee... not what they were, but still rocking up the cabaret scene.
hawkmoon03111951 I'm looking for the B-Side of this Berries hit - "You don’t know what to do". Can you please upload it too? Thanks.

One of the best UK bands that never quite made it. Great lead singer!

your right they were under rated as a band and Stevie Riks is under rated as a comedian but both have a very small but fanatic group of fans, lol
