Original and imaginative! Don't like hearing the English, but it actually fits.

This is a brilliant production! Opera for the 21st century - replete with imagery from famous war films, from All's Quiet on the Western Front to Saving Private Ryan, crossed with video games, The Lord of the Rings, among other familiar western cultural icons.

Beautiful young singers, marvelous art and stage direction, fantastic conducting - this needs to be released in North America.
