  • what a cute horse! such a trooper! your info mentioned becoming a certified instructor, is that thru the ARICP? or are there different organizations now?

  • thanks! and i'm not sure what ARICP is, but i'm getting certified through Equine Canada as a part of the Ontario Equestrian Federation branch :)

  • oh ok, that sounds like the canadian equivalent to the american certification thing...i don't know what ARICP stands for LOL

  • I like your horse's colour (:

  • very nice. you look like u work very well together. i have a horse that likes to get lazy the longer hes been ridden, and if you give him a bump with ur leg every stride or every other stride, he does much better. maybe it'll help you and your pony? very cute pony btw!

  • thanks! and we got firsts in both of the flat classes, but those were before the over fences classes so by the time we got out to do the courses he was ready to drop. i'm proud of him for doing them anyway and not throwing a tantrum LOL!

  • your pony look a little tried , but he and you were champs !!! and good for you for going out even tho he did other classes

  • that green and white diagonal line was ADORABLE.

    ahh, loki's the cutest!

and you ride him so pro.

    lol

    btw,

    what song is that?

  • it's every you every me by placebo :) i stole it off the cruel intentions soundtrack LOL

  • Very quiet in the saddle. Good equitation.

  • You did really good! And he or she is absolutly adorable over jumps!!! I don't know if this is bad or not but I was just going to say for a lead if youare going onto a line or diagonal turn your head the way you are supposed to go and he or she should pick up the right lead!! But you don't have to take the comment just something I learned! You both did look good out there!!! What places did you get?

  • we got first in both the flat classes, and then a fifth or a sixth in this one i believe. and the pony doesnt know his flying changes yet, and he gets cheeky if you ask him to land a certain lead coming down from a fence, so i pretty much let him figure it out himself, and it works well, he usually lands the proper lead. this was his ninth class of the day though so he just trotted most of the course -.- bleh.

  • You did pretty good! Can i make a suggestion? when your horse is trotting, to ask for the canter again, situtate yourself so your hips are in the centre of your him and your outside leg is slightly behind the girth. give him a squeeze with your leg, then ask for the canter. try to give him as much impulsion as you can with your seat.

    NICE RIDING!

  • oh, i was, this was just his eighth or ninth class of the day and he was getting really tired. he isnt exactly bred for stamina (welshxquarter horse) so i forgave him for being cheap. and thank you ^_^

  • it looked really nice and you make it look easy!

  • You two look very sophisticated together :P Awesome job Lol

  • thanks! ^)^

  • why are you so harsh on her? she did a good job.

  • no wonder u didnt place u suck u need to worck on your back and bend at the hips and you need to stay the same pace all the way throw ok k :)

  • Haha, your hilarious.

  • While he was cantering his pace was nice but you should decide weather you want to trot or canter because both looks sloppy. You did a nice job riding and i love his jump!

  • thank you! ^__^ yea, i wasnt really planning on having to trot around EVERY corner -.- but i wasnt stressing too much about the pace cause i was just happy that he was behaving himself. but now that we've established that he can be good at a show for once, expectations will be higher next time baha :D
