Anyone know wut extra toggle does in this game i know that i lego star wars 2 it gives you extra useless characters but not in this game plz help

It just lets you play as certain other characters you couldn't play as before, but it only works on certain levels. It is mostly just for fun because the characters don't really do anything else.
