  • Even Spike Lee had to portrray blacks in a negative streotypical role to get financing for his films- When he tried to show blacks in positive roles his financing was cut back Lee is bisexual a Moorehouse alumni not too many people in that that business are straight Look at the most popular film stars Will Smith, Sam Jackson Terrence Howard Ving Rhames Jaime Foxx all gay and bisexual Blacks have no economic clout in hollywood to call the shots so they have to submit to jewish producers

  • Hollywood celebs are bisexual are homosexual and I can prove it that includes hiphop music film and sports thats why Black men are emasculated in america specifically in pop culture

They have broken up the black family for years in america via planned parenthood where they abort black fetuses and welfare programs where the black man is thrown out of the home so the chilldren has no father figure and is then easily subjected to a cycle of poverty and enslavement to white people

  • Remember jews run the ENTERTAINMENT business so who are they ENTER TAINING LOOK AT THE ORIGINS OF THAT WORD WHAT ARE YOU ENTERING WHEN ASKED TO BE ENTERTAINED?

Hollywood for instance has ancient ties broken down HOLY WOOD

its the worship of something dark Hollywood celebs all worship the Baphomet a hermaphrodite god you cannot get a deal in homowood unless you are initiated into perversion and satanic worship trust me thats why ppl like Tyler Perry is promoted so hard because he is GAY

  • Black females these days are victims of MkUltra mind control and subliminal messages in movies and specifically , music however that doesnt excuse their irresponsibility in the men they chose to date- Females actually make the choice whether a relationship will exists -Too many black females allow themselves to be dictated to by HIPHop culture and Perry films they think thats the way they are supposed to conduct themselves and behave around men

thats why some black men date other races

  • Tyler Perry like most Black men in HOMOwood is gay thats what Hollywood wants to perpetuate in the Black community is homosexiuality its called GENOCIDE thats why homosexuality is so heavily promoted in the black community and No voting is not he answer because both parties are owned by the same central banks and illuminati hence the OCCUPY MOVEMENT

    Peace

  • Like I said in the more popular repost of this video: SOMEONE FIND THE SCIENCE TO CLONE THIS WOMAN. SHE IS LITERALLY ONE IN A MILLION. AINT BUT 20 MILLION BLACK WOMEN IN AMERICA. Willie Lynch succeded, son. The Father figure is destroyed and thus so is the race.

  • I agree 100% with everything you say looking foward to more of your videos

  • i like the part when you said. in some sick twisted way women like to be hurt i think that is every ture

  • THANK YOU!

  • Yes sister!!...tell them..speak it into existence.. THY WILL will be done, ask believe receive power of the tongue.. POWERFUL IT IS!! :D

  • You're very insightful -- and pretty.

  • your a cutie!

  • you lost your blackness white girl I couldnt listen quite sure it was something

  • Some Blk women love Tyler ppry bc his movies tell them everything they want to hear. It teaches that all of their problems in life are someone else's fault and that they are naturally innocent, victims, while blk men in the process are thrown under the bus. Tyler is just using blkwmn to get rich, and portrays rich guys like jerks in his films to distance himself from the "rich jerk type" bc he is far more wealthy than his overweight, single, bitter blk female fan base of whom he overcharges.

  • I'm so sorry, but I am mesmerized!!! You are truly intelligent, and an inspiration! I was just talking about this today with my friend Vince, we were talking about what we like in men/women, and just about everything you're talking about came from my mouth! Preach the truth! Women allow men to treat them like horse crap! I guarantee if women present themselves in a no bs (but in a polite way) men will dig on that. Some men are just ass holes, and those we leave alone!

  • i think accountability is very important, but u don't seem to take accountability for the fact u too r a single parent raising your child in a broken home.u say u 2 were just not meant to be together and i guess u did'nt figure that out until after u had a child .compatability is something to figure out before baby.u r suppose to have a child a raise it in the home with both parents.

  • Has anyone noticed how the list of passes for the eligibility of a black man has grown almost 4x's. It used to be a car ,a job and be light skinned (then you would score a home run)-where did all the rest come from.

  • lonleness is a bitch..... look at here come on now.....

  • I've noticed that it's very common in this day and age for women to have children with more than one man, or have a child with a man they're no longer married to. Now I'm not saying this is the woman's fault, but I find it troubling that in this day and age, the traditional family is disappearing. I want to have kids only with the woman I'm married to, and have it stay that way. Is that too much to ask? I see this everywhere by the way, not just with Black people.

  • White girls get with us brothers b'cuz "they want us". Black women expect us to have a lot of $ so they can "get their hair and nails done" They don't want the brother that wears his pants around his waist. They want an image from BET. They don't want a faithful dude....they want a sorry-assed nigga. I date out of my race b'cuz I don't like being alone for too long but I long for a chocolate queen. I'm not giving up until I find her.

  • @brothamandap good comment.

  • Lydia, I think you're a very attractive woman, even more so when you smile. I'd go on a date with you. As a white guy, I think many white guys don't even look at black chicks because they're tired of the scowling looks and bad attitudes (not that black chicks sometimes don't have things to be mad about, obviously). In other words, white dudes aren't interested because they know a black chick is not afraid to cause a scene and get mad and loud in public, so why bother?

  • @HonkyTonkMan705 Fuck off, honky. Sistas don't want your inbred ass. Go fuck your sister.

  • Hello Lydia I enjoyed your "scapegoating" blog on youtube. I think you're a very intelligent and upright woman who has her head on straight. God Bless you.

  • you could be a great psychologist sooo intelligent you open up new views for everything :0

  • i wish i could hug you. take it from a black woman who has been married since the age of 18, now 35. married to the same man. we don't cheat on each other, we focus on our kids and forget what ya heard about sex dies off in a marriage after many years. i rep for black men bc my sons and my husband are living proof! don't put my babies down! don't put my handsome sons down when you never met them! just think about it ladies, if your a mother, or a sister, your calling your sons and brothers chit!

  • Lydia, I think it's interesting that you went on a rant about why black women need to stop degrading black men, then you ended by putting down a black man. Otherwise a decent enough video. BTW, not all black women deal with these kids of men. I know a lot of sisters who are single with standards. Yet, we get blamed for having standards, too. It's a lose-lose when it come comes to us these days. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. BTW, Where you put your high horse when you get home?

  • You seem very Intelligent on these kind of Issues and yeah a lot of those movies are sterotypical I don't think you should jugde someone by whats portrayed on the media or what happened in your pervious realtionship

  • Interesting insight....

    H~

  • urr soo beautiful.. wow

  • it has been suggested to me that most women have a tendency towards masochism emotionally analogous to the sex act!

  • The sound of lonliness is so loud to bare that you will accept a bullshitin ass negro than to be alone. I will not accept it these type of suckers in my life at least not for the long haul. I enjoy being single. Getting to know and depend on myself. Don't forget about the DL homosexuals, AIDS men, Mamas boys, and the sorry ass men that don't try, and those pathetic losers that can't deal with a woman that makes over mininum wage. So sad sista. Pretty good video.

  • I find Perry's movies enjoyable to a certain degree. I'm certainly not stupid enough to believe that his movies represent the entire African American population. If more AA directors produced a variety of black movies you would not have posted this video. His movies always conclude with a form of hope and contentment. I hope you are referring to Oprah because she supports Tyler Perry more than anybody! One of the reasons Tyler is so successful is because of Oprah/The most powerful Black woman

  • This is the best Video I've seen in ages. I love this woman for uploading this.

  • WOWWWW, i admire ur courage for even posting this!!!

  • TRUTH!!!

    that's all i can say

you're like putting a mirror up so that many black women can see themselves (clearly) and not this facade of "woe is me"

    thank you

  • The problem is that a lot of black women literally don't know what they want or need. They weren't taught who is "good or bad".

  • DAMN I LOVE YOU GURL! :) GREAT VIDEO!

  • I watched one of your other videos and you are the reason why most women stay in the situations they are. So much easier said then done my sister.

  • for coloured girls... waiting to exhale part 2... the ghetto version!

she held out long enough but i guess that loreal contract money ran out kerry didnt it?!

  • to all concerned colord girls please view a video entitled HOW TO DEACTIVATE YOUR WILLY LYNCH CHIP and be informed.

  • As for Tyler Perry, black women overwhelming fill the movie theaters and arenas when he gives plays, they can't grasp they're paying him to put them down. They're paying him to portray them as lonely, unwanted, bitter, insane hell-raising loudmouths. Just because somewhere in the film god is mentioned god it's suppose to be a good movie or play because of it. Before her passing his own mother was less than enthusiastic with his movies (and plays) so that should speak volumes in and of itself.

  • The video is on point. There are some black women failing at accountability because they lack self love and missed out on being taught how to be women. Black people in general need to understand they're under attack, movies depict them over and over as ignorant and vulgar especially the black woman. It's done to keep an entire population mentally destabilized as well as to give self hating black men justification in pursuing non-black women for mates.

  • This by far is the most REALIST SHIT I have ever heard a woman say. I take my hat off to you sister. Alot of people need to hear this. Dont worry about what others say and think, just keep on speaking your mind.

  • I was already saved but preach on my sista! Got my sub!

  • Awww she is so cute.

  • good points made but you misunderstood the point of the movie. looking at the girl who got raped..! how is she meant to take control of her life. in some cases you dont ave control.

  • Niggas ain't shit except for the ones u give birth to and the ones u don't try to date!!! = )

  • You made some excellent points. This poorly directed and written movie is the latest and worst of a toxic template that has become iconic. The abridged and racially specific title is its major offense.

BTW, "The Universe" doesn't care about your thoughts. It's not about magic or what you put into the universe. It's simply about what you put into your head - your head IS your universe.

  • good commentary and I agree with most of the things you're speaking on. About us settling for losers, I don't think it's a "sick, twisted way in which we enjoy pain"... well, speaking from an experience i had and some known experiences of friends, I think it just has to do with some of us not wanting to be alone and our own self-esteem. Some of us choose to put up with a lot of sh!t just to have and/or keep a man. It's sad, but true :(

  • They are strong and independent, don't need a man, can do bad by themselves,

yet their instincts rarely lead them to good men. Their education, jobs, degrees status and finance show they are successful.yet the best they can find in men are not stellar examples of manhood. Yet they freely breed with violent, rebellious, unlawful men and then claim victim. FUCK OUTTA HERE!!

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Forget those haters; don't let them stop you for telling the truth, and may you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Now all that's left is getting the Wayans brothers to make a spoof of Tyler Perry movies and it's a done deal.

  • It was so good to hear a sister say what you did I tried to say the same thing to my sister and she loves tyler perry and wait till she sees what a real black sister has to say. My the most high bless you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And also...I agree that a lot of women do make horrible choices when selecting a mate, but I think it has more to do with a low self-esteem and negative thinking. Some women subconciously don't think they deserve better. So when they do find someone good they run from it. It's like self-sabatoge. I had one women literally tell me that she stayed with an abusive boyfriend because she didn't think she'd find anyone else. If that isn't low self-esteem I don't know what is.

  • I understand this woman's point, but in terms of Tyler Perry's movie, I wonder if she actually SAW the movie?? ACCOUNTABILITY and/or women regaining control of their lives was the theme...exactly what this woman claims to be missing from TP movies. And for those who actually did see the movie yet still didn't get it, it really is a shame that recognizing the moral of a story takes too much thought for some people to grasp. They see a "bad" black man/woman in a movie and they get stuck.

  • As true as this all may be, I think its misplaced. Yes BW need to be held accountable for the BM they choose to be with, as do BM. But BM also must be held accountable for the way they treat BW (and vice versa). The solution to the problems the community is facing in relationships is not to tell BW to shut up and blame themselves whenever a BM does them wrong. Tbh its a huge strawman to pretend the only BM that mistreat BW are the obvious thugs that they should have known better than to date

  • This lady gets it. She is also cute.

  • also! where did that statistic of 72% of black women are single mothers? maybe i misheard, but 72% of black women. you mean out of every 10 black women in america, 7.2 of them are single parents? that seems grossly unrealistic

  • @ladydoe89 The statistic is actually 72% of black children today are born to unWED mothers, meaning that the father of the child could still be present, they just aren't married.

  • @defythestarss thank you :)

  • I salute you sister. A lot black women need to start taking accountability for the men they choose to be in relationships with.

  • I appreciate everything that you said in this video. You've made points that I haven't been able to put into words. I hope your mentality will spread to others, I'm waiting to meet more females friends that think like you. Thanks for sharing!

  • I hate to say this,Cause I wanted to give Tyler Perry a chance too,He and Robi Reed puts together some of the best black talent that I have ever seen,But this will be the last movie of his that I wil support.Because as a black man if he shares the same views as everyone in America and putting one sided stories on screen about us,I won't support him anymore.

  • FINALLY! it's about time more women came to this realization. I'm so sick of hearing women have pity-fests about how men aren't this and they aren't worth that. Take accountability for your own actions. You knew he wasn't about shit yet you chose to procreate with this person or get involved with this person. Now you're bitter and complaining about how much he isn't about shit. Well my dear neither are you. Wake up open your eyes to reality and stop the 'woe is me' bullshit. Well done Lydia.

  • i am really interested in why her and the child's father are not together, but she doesnt have a bad thing to say about them, why arent you two together then?

    anyway,

you should do a blog on the strong hateful feelings black men feel toward innocent black women. some do it just for fun

If that isn't negative thinking I don't know what is.

  • I understand this woman's point, but in terms of Tyler Perry's movie, I wonder if she actually SAW the movie?? ACCOUNTABILITY and/or women regaining control of their lives was the theme...exactly what this woman claims to be missing from TP movies. They see a "bad" black man/woman in a movie and they get stuck.

  • @1luving Idk if she saw the movie or not, but I think the real point she's trying to make is that there are sooo many movies that depict black guys as the villains, but yet so many black female characters do not take responsibility for themselves. Clearly the movie was about reclaiming oneself and regaining control, however, I think she's referring to a wide range b/c she also included a trailer for "Waiting to Exhale"

  • I approve this message...I have no clue why this is rocket science to black women only..the rest of the world gets this...no really it's common sense.

  • Amen sista. Subscribing!!

  • I've seen it all to much in my lifetime. Sisters getting together and having pity party sessions and rapping about some Negro they weren't married to who slutted them out.

  • Very good advice.

  • Great video. I'm glad more and more Black Women are waking up and seeing this nonsense for what it is.

I hope more women like you start speaking out and check other sisters.

  • Now don't get it twisted,I think all of the ladies in the movie did an incredible job and I like the poetry in the movie..But people have been benefiting off of Black Women's pain.

  • Tell 'em queen.

  • I've been trying to tell people about Tyler Perry for awhile now..And in return alot of Black Women were on the attack defending Tyler Perry..But I'm glad that some sistas are really starting to see the truth..He's making money off of your misery..Plain and Simple!

  • And the church said.....

  • Excellent video@LCotton

  • Preach sister Preach !!!!

  • Yessss!!! Take accountability for what happens to you in your life! Ironically in for colored girls, they address accountability for a brief millisecond. Still I'm annoyed with Tyler Perry's movies (even though he didn't write this one, he just produced it, but he follows the same formula) and he will not see another red cent from me. Overall, this is what I've been preaching from the roof tops to my friends for years!

  • Tell them hoes..

They would rather be in a miserable, fucked up relationship with a bum ass nigga..instead of being single

Turn around and already got like 5 kids with that fool when he dumps them for another girl

Then they wanna demand a Denzel Washington

  • @shahizo

LOL damn that's messed up but you do have a point. I have a couple of friends exactly like you just described

  • @shahizo , maybe the world need more Denzels,so they can show them their worth.

A father is there to teach his daughters worth,so here is the tears of the fatherless, and unmarried women.

Calling women hoes shows your value. You need to get yourself together along with the women.

  • @shahizo sad, but true.

  • 6:24-7:12 Amen!

8:17-8:57 ??!!! :-o Umm this goes for everyone. This not a "Black" issue, but a people issue. "Women that were born for them"? Whoa, you're delusional in that sense. Not feeling the whole pro-Black stuff, but still agree with women taking responsibility.

  • @shany9988

This is not a people video, but one that addresses "black" people or did you not notice that. Where do you think black women and men come from? Your the delusional one who probably thinks its racist to only date your own race lol. Its a obligation to not do so lol. Probably pro anything but black Iam guessing. Multiculturalism is not real but an illusion that one group of people control. Sh.. most likely your not even "black" your damn self.

  • @nosimpin1

I'm Black. But I'm just not an "all Black everything" person.

I agreed with her video, just not her false sense of entitlement to Black men. A lot (?) of Black women have it & these are the women that flinch at Black men & interracial dating. This isn't slavery. No one has rights to anyone simply because they're Black.

  • Some women want to escape accountability instead of fixing themselves. I agreed with the video.

But I am annoyed with the way you speak. "We"... "Our"? Really? (*cringe*)

Black men are not your men. They don't belong to you. This false sense of entitlement is another issue Black women (including yourself), seem to have; & it irritates the hell outta me. I can imagine what your views on mixed dating would be.

    Oh well, nice video overall.

  • @shany9988

people can feel however they want about whatever issue they like. Its their right.

  • good video sista.

  • Wow... I actually didn't see it from this view. I totally agree with you. Thanks for the blog hun!

  • So much truth spoken here!

I would have more faith in love if there were more women like you. Kudos!

  • you r a beautiful intelligent black woman with a great attitude, do they mass produce women like you, cause i want one

  • Tyler Perry is a con man. He's selling division, pain, and ignorance to his own people and strutting all the way to the bank while doing it. He's so smooth with it though because he throws a couple of out of work black actors a couple of roles and he comes off as the great black solution to racist "hold me down" Hollywood. People wake up, he sells the same story each film...no substance, nothing. He can't make a Crooklyn, and he won't make a Higher Learning.

  • @ReflectionEternal if he makes a higher learning ppl will just say hes making our black teens look bad ppl need to understand they are just movies about situations that all races go through, yes he employs new and old black actors and actresses which is good b/c guess what those white directors aint gonna hire them, his movies are cliche but they also have positive aspects to them also

  • @ReflectionEternal Tyler Perry makes the kind of movies that ppl either like or they dont. I love his serious movies, but most of his madea-based movies suck w/ the exception off Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion.

  • I understand what this woman is saying but Tyler was trying to stay true to Shange's poem. We know that these women and men we deal with aren't worth our time and yes, there is accountability as Phylicia Rashad's character was trying to point out to the character whose children had been killed by the children's father. This woman's opinion is just what it is. Her opinion.

  • You said that in some sick, twisted way you feel that maybe women "enjoy" pain. From what I have seen, women bond over their problems like the reference you made to "Waiting to Exhale" and the male bashing.

So..to a degree, women do "like" their problems more than men do, because women seem to use them to bond with each other.

If women don't have "problems" and they are the type to bond over them, then they can't relate or bond with their girlfriends.

  • This was really good girl!!! Couldn't have said it any better! And you sounded really good...like u could have been in the room with a bunch of friends and we were all talking about it...good job!

  • do you have a twitter?are you single?

  • so true....I will not be a victim....and I refuse

  • Props on this

  • I wonder since Tyler Perry owns his own studio, will he ever make a film like the Expendables. A good ole fashion blood and guts action flick.

  • the bigger problem is that these women don't know how to be around men who want to treat them right. they stampede right over the nice guys to chase the men who will fulfill their sick fantasy of being abused, beat and left to raise a child on their own

  • please write a book .

  • Thank u Sista! You put it down!

  • Thank you.

    We need more like you.

  • The victim role is very comfortable for a lot of people. Victims are allowed to complain and throw self pity parties with no sense of accountability, like you said. Not only do women seem to enjoy pain and drama, but a lot of women enjoy being victims. And it's really sad because the cycle will never be broken because misery loves company

  • Your mentality is that of a Queen! We applaud you! You have very high standards and one who doesnt settle for the drama! The mentality of people of color is sick! Thats why shows that display "foolishness" sells! This stereotype will continue unless we change our mindset as our "sista" so eloquently put it! Sista let me say when you stand for truth in a world dominated by lies be prepared for the ha8ters! We are of the same spirit! Luv You!!

  • Watching this video was like a breath of fresh air in sense. Thanks for speaking out about this subject b/c I'm tired of the talk shows, media, & tyler perry movies that put black men in a very bad light. Even though, it's some brothers out here that don't do right there are some out here that are stand up guys as well but that story about 90% of the time is never told.

I think black folks in general should stop taking the "bait" that the media & movies portray and start thinking for selves.

  • This is SOOO TRUE!!!!! As a Black woman I just shake my head at Tyler Perry and these damn movies. Making money off of our pain, damn right!

  • This was awesome, I think women, [especially younger women] can learn a lot from this vlog. Two thumbs up.

  • SISTER QUEEN!!!! I am also a Black Wombman with your AWARENESS!!! I was celibate for 6 YEARS!!!! And because I KNEW there are AMAZING Black Men out there? I FOUND ONE! It is BLISS. Stay Strong Queen! No HATE HERE, just LOVE!

  • This is real talk right here

  • cogent ...more power !!!

  • no hate...do ya thing young lady...i totally agree

  • At least he's giving us something to talk about! To open a meaninful conversation with some substance!

  • @PurpleITGyrl

he's not giving any of you anything of substance to talk about. tyler perry is just creating a bigger wedge between the genders. how many BW do you think argued with their men after seeing that moviE? how many of you women feel justified in your victim hood because of constant re-affirmation like this trash.

you said his stories hit home, please explain how they hit home for you?

  • @marcusinHD ...THE FIRST thing I wish we would do is learn how to conversate without attacking!:-) It doesn't hit home personally (exactly where did I state it did?) because I don't think I've ever truly had a bad relationship...well none as depicted in the movie. However, I have many friends who fit the bill of many of these characters. I'd like to think no one argued! If he wasn't giving you anything of substance to talk about...there wouldn't be so many blog's like this floating about.

  • @PurpleITGyrl

"I can't knock Tyler for profitting from telling stories! Period! In most cases (especially places where there's a poverty level) his stories hit home! "

this is your exact comment, then once called out on it, it no longer hits home for you personally, figures! if the black man is freddy and jason to these black women, then they need to move on, date other races; please. BM are tired of being painted as the villain, then being expected to be superman in the same lifetime

  • @marcusinHD EXACTLY READ PLEASE (In most cases (especially places where there's a poverty level) his stories hit home! ) WHERE DOES IT SAY IT HITS HOME FOR ME!!! WOW Sir...you sound bitter and upset about something!!! I love my BLACK husband my BLACK ex-husband my BLACK FATHER ...As the young lady said in the video...I too don't have too much of anything negative to say about black men but when I read a BM responding to a stranger like this it does raise an eyebrow..Have a BEAUTIFUL evening!

  • @PurpleITGyrl

but his stories don't hit home. you probably couldn't name anyone you know whose went through half of these fictional stories in those crappy films, but sense you want to peddle now, i see this debate is finished.

  • I completely agree with most of your Vlog dear! Nail right on the head! We have to look within! I can't knock Tyler for profitting from telling stories! Period! In most cases (especially places where there's a poverty level) his stories hit home! Now with that said, I don't always agree with his depiction (i.e. always seems to be the light skin brother to save the day) But there have been others profitting from us FAR longer than this man has and doing more harmful things than telling stories!

  • Real Talk Sistah!

  • There is hope, I see at least one sister in America gets it. My sentiments exactly, spoken with true sage wisdom.

  • I can't speak for all black men, I can only speak for myself. Thank you Lydia.

  • You are an impressive young lady, Miss Lydia. Where's a good cloning factory when you need one? ;)

  • People change, a good man can easily change into a bad one and when one's emotions are involved it makes that even more complicated cause deep down I'm sure that woman wants to change that man for the better or hope that they will on their own.

  • I agree with this to an extent. Women do need to take more responsibility for the situations that some of them are in. However I also feel like its easy to say that when we have never been in any of those situations and are on the outside looking in. We dont always choose to be in bad situations, sometimes they are simply created by what we thought was a good situation.

  • Truth.

  • Lydia! I got hip to you through Facebook, glad that you are on Youtube too! Thanks for speaking up for the brothers and men in general! Love it! Love it! Love it! You should right a book!

  • Lydia this is so very true. People have to look at self first!

  • Love it Lydia! We as women refuse to look at ourselves. We're so used to pointing the finger of blame at everyone else. Keep doing your thing girl. Fantasy is what people want, but reality is what they need.
