@TheReal704Champ They sure as hell lost something - the most important thing there ever was, one that was completely essential for the band being at all good, without which they actually did suck. Without which they couldn't write good songs, play good guitars or at all keep on to the rock'n'roll style they were made of.

They lost Izzy Stradlin.
