I remember seeing this back when it aired, yeah it was definitely the hair, and also I felt that the weird rules actually messed up Paulson who unlike some of the other strikers in there was more well balanced and could grapple and totally looked like he had submissions skills. I felt like he should have just entered as a grappler like Vale.

@kenseisato1989 Erik was doing stunt work back then. His corner man and training partner, Chad Stahelski, went on to do tons of stunt work and doubled Keanu Reeves for The Matrix trilogy. ...as for the broken cup, Erik's a tough customer, all the way!
