The yogi at the beginning of this video is BKS Iyengar not Krishnamacharya! Krishnamacharya was born in 1888, which would have made him 50 years old in 1938 - whereas the fellow in the video is much younger. Indeed, it's a 20 year old BKS Iyengar.

Recently YouTube said I was authorized for over 15 minutes videos, I didn't know exactly what that meant. The Smithsonian contacted me about using this video for an upcoming exhibit, so I put it all together as 1 video for them and was surprised when YouTube took all 45 minutes. Itr is well received with over 1,580 hits the first 18 days. Sometimes things change for the better, thank YouTube.
