مردم و سنگ می‌خورد عشق چو اژدهای تو

becomes an enemy to sleep, my eye, because of you!

Don't hold up the traveler, don't turn laughter to weeping -

Do not be cruel - the servant has no-one but you!

When your water runs in the stream how can I say anything

At times even my breath is stolen in astonishment for you
