if these were NOT headlights, why would they only appear from the top and then go the bottom righ... it appears just like the Paulding lights... these ARE headlights.
1:04 YES there is a highway to the right. HW 67 leads to Presidio from Marfa.
Marfa is located to the right (westward) in the pictures of the lights. Using google earth Presidio is almost 12 o'clock directionwise to the orientation of the viewing platform, Marfa and HW90 is ca 2:30 o'clock and these lights I presume are seen at around 1 o'clock. Which intersects the Highway.
Try it yourself in Google Earth just draw a line with the measuring tool to where the lights are in the pic. Am I wrong?
I've seen them several times- my hubby didn't believe me until I took him there! We saw them zig zag - across the plains- up and down- back & forth in colors of white- blue- & red. U have to see them if u don't believe, & the car headlights explanation is sooo wrong since it's on record, these lights have been there since the 1800's!
They're not headlights. I was there in 2002. Sometimes they appear at the very top of the mountain and come down where there is no road at all. They're definetely not car headlights. I wish I had had a good camera when I went. These photos are very high def.
@hrprada These are headlights that are traveling north on highway 67 towards Marfa. The Marfa Chamber of Commerce wants more business in the area and promote that the Marfa Lights are a mystery, but they have been studied already and they were found to be headlights from cars.
Oh wow... I wish they were on video. Watching the way they move would be a really awesome thing to show my science class. I have to do a project on them. They are very cool! :D
