An embassy does not suggest imperialism, there are countries all over the middle east that have embassies in the US, are we being colonized by the Saudis, I don't think so. There are plenty of countries that are far more rich in natural resource than Iraq and Afghanistan, that would have been far easier to overtake; Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, etc. No oil is going to be taken from Iraq at all
