The thing I'm goin' to change is I think everything without body, I'm goin' to change all the pickups and electronic stuff, and a neck, even the output for cable. I even conider If it wouldn't be better to buy new body too and build new guitar.
hey i was just wondering ...what (other than the price obviously) is the difference between a bullet and an affinity and std or the deluxe strat ..... i mean not in terms of technical jargon ....what does the difference mean to a "guitar dicktionary" ignorant person like me...i mean like according to sound or feel ...etc ...thanx in advance

For me,this strat aint that big shit you know,it holds a tuning very well...but SSS is annoying,there is no powerful low sound...but wit good amp/effects,it can do even metal;)

A guitarra veio bem desregulada, sendo necessário a regulagem de afinação de oitava e de altura das cordas, que fiz em casa mesmo, e ficou satisfatório. Falta um manual decente, com as especificações do instrumento. Não sei se dei sorte, mas não fica nada a dever a outra Fender que possuí, uma American Traditional - 5 vezes mais cara - excelente custo-benefício.
Tenho uma excelente opinião do instrumento. Custando em torno de R$ 500,00 no Brasil (e U$120,00 nos EUA), a guitarra é muito bem-acabada, sem ruído em nenhum captador ( a minha é uma HSS, com humbucker na ponte) e não desafina, mesmo com o frequente uso de bends (toco blues). O som dela é muito bom, plugada direto num amp Fender Automatic SE, bem velhinho, tanto usando o som limpo como a distorção do amp.
Muita gente tem dúvidas sobre a Squier Bullet, e eis porque: A Bullet, que passou a ser produzida na China em 1996, teve muitas reclamações entre 1005/06 devido ao corpo em madeira compensada e a Fender descontinuou o modelo no início de 2007. A partir do fim 2007 até hoje o corpo é padronizado em Basswood, madeira que também é usada na série Squier DeLuxe.

Got mine. It was good for about a third of the year then the maple in the neck weakened so much it goes out of tune if I play any chords because the neck bends so bad.

@AmigoFiell They are an absolutely amazing beginner guitar and will excel your playing into the intermediate zone and are overall fun to play. Of course as you get better you'll want to upgrade, but this guitar will keep you going for a long time. No this guitar can do jazzy style, clean, or metal.

hy, its abt 125$'s in india...u may evn gt it for 115$'s.. i ws wondering wts the measure of the action? it keeps changing almost every 3-4 months n i have to adjust it, the lowest (on the 12th fret, 'e', string) i can get is 2.5-3 mm..is it gud? i have played a varity of guitars(bc rich, epiphone, dean, esp, ibanez) and the action is really low... bullets are the cheapestaffinity strats are probably the best of them all.. i would prefer a Fender Starcaster strat though.. i have one and i think its a lot better than any squier strat. i got mine for like $115 on amazon, but no in there its only like 90 bucks.. just search and look for a guitar titled 1 NEW Starcaster by Fender Electric Guitar - COLOR: High-gloss Black - perfect for beginners! - FENDER AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. they also have starter packs with an amp, bag, etc.

@SaxoRocks fender is a maker of squier guitars. squier guitars are more affordable yet its components are a little lower compared to fender. there are many different models like stratocaster,telecaster,jazzmaster,jaguar,jagstang,tornado,sonic models and many more.
@SaxoRocks i recommend buying a squier affinity stratocaster. i own one and really sounds good. can be played with all sorts of music. from jazz to metal. no problems with the maintenance only polishing it once in a while.
@SaxoRocks Many people make strats. squier is like Gibsom epiphones. there are a lot of junk ones out there. I would lean away from the bullet series, and lean away from china made too. you have to realize how old you have to be to work in china,and how much they expect of a person in the work place. they can't make shoes,clothes,or any lasting electronics.I am not sayong all china made are junk, but I bet most are.look for a Japan, Korean, or an Indonesian.87-89,91-92, 94-97, for better ones.
@thebluesrockers the 97's were the first year for the alder body's.before that most were plywood, or basswood
the made is Mexico Stratocasters were about the same. they didn't make an alder body until 2007. something to remember when looking for a used guitar. the guitar necks on the older squier's are hard to beat.; if your looking to buy an older squier, do your homework. it can be a bit hard to learn. the history on them is very difficult to follow.. and remember to upgrade a little. @SaxoRocks No, squier has a few different models like telecasters, jazzmaster, and I think some vintage Jaguars. I think the Squier Strat is the one with the worst tone but if you plan on getting a guitar made by fender I would recommend getting the real deal and not a squier.. it's gonna save you money afterwards because you'll eventually want a real fender!!
@hopfenkaltschale i was going for the full set, since it will be my first guitar in years, and i never learned how to play the classic one. so, yes 200 for the guitar and amp at least, if posible, the squire by fender beginner pack with the affinity one.
I use one of these Bullets (totally stock older Korean model) and a $99 Fender Frontman 25R amp (solid state). Checkout my channel if you want to hear what these guitars can really do. No need for a $1500.00 amp.
What most musicians don't understand is that it's not the guitar that makes the tone. It's the amp/effects/rack mounts. I have a Squier Jazz bass hooked up to a Markbass Little Mark Tube through a BBE Sonic Maximizer, and I guarantee it sounds 100 times better than a Fender Deluxe 5 string played through an Acoustic B20.
@EuphoriaMusicSession I totally agree dude. Also depends on the musician. Depending on the type of amp/effects your using the stock pickups usually sound pretty good.
i still asking where do people see bad things on squier guitars...i just cant see any error on it....give a squier to slash and ull see how he will break ur ass off even with a 50 dollar guitar...i think that u listen or look the squiers bad because u dont know how to play...

got the same in arctic white (for 99 bucks) and mine sounds way better actually
all stock parts.
just some adjustments on string height, new strings, intonation and i guess i have to reground it because this ground noise i got is making me mad.
george doesnt seem to be a good guitar player at all and this guys guitar is not even in tune.
...and the amp sounds like crap. :/

@SaxoRocks Many people make strats. squier is like Gibsom epiphones. there are a lot of junk ones out there. I would lean away from the bullet series, and lean away from china made too. you have to realize how old you have to be to work in china,and how much they expect of a person in the work place. they can't make shoes,clothes,or any lasting electronics.I am not sayong all china made are junk, but I bet most are.look for a Japan, Korean, or an Indonesian.87-89,91-92, 94-97, for better ones.

@thebluesrockers the 97's were the first year for the alder body's.before that most were plywood, or basswood
the made is Mexico Stratocasters were about the same. they didn't make an alder body until 2007. something to remember when looking for a used guitar. the guitar necks on the older squier's are hard to beat.; if your looking to buy an older squier, do your homework. it can be a bit hard to learn. the history on them is very difficult to follow.. and remember to upgrade a little. @SaxoRocks No, squier has a few different models like telecasters, jazzmaster, and I think some vintage Jaguars. I think the Squier Strat is the one with the worst tone but if you plan on getting a guitar made by fender I would recommend getting the real deal and not a squier.. it's gonna save you money afterwards because you'll eventually want a real fender!!

@hopfenkaltschale i was going for the full set, since it will be my first guitar in years, and i never learned how to play the classic one. so, yes 200 for the guitar and amp at least, if posible, the squire by fender beginner pack with the affinity one.

I use one of these Bullets (totally stock older Korean model) and a $99 Fender Frontman 25R amp (solid state). Checkout my channel if you want to hear what these guitars can really do. No need for a $1500.00 amp.

What most musicians don't understand is that it's not the guitar that makes the tone. It's the amp/effects/rack mounts. I have a Squier Jazz bass hooked up to a Markbass Little Mark Tube through a BBE Sonic Maximizer, and I guarantee it sounds 100 times better than a Fender Deluxe 5 string played through an Acoustic B20.

i still asking where do people see bad things on squier guitars...i just cant see any error on it....give a squier to slash and ull see how he will break ur ass off even with a 50 dollar guitar...i think that u listen or look the squiers bad because u dont know how to play...

it is a good blues guitar

@9tailednaruto17 If you dont have a button called over drive..then just go buy a destortion pedal. some of the cheap pedals are not that great. I have a Fender starcaster pedal for destortion..gives you alot of options for your destortion.
