  • Rising sea levels video recorded 4 years ago, data as valid as it ever was.

  • is this before we found out that dater was falsifided so this is all bullshit now

  • Hi, I'm doing an English assignment on Global Warming - Rising Sea Levels and I live in Australia. When was this video uploaded? and Is it still valid (not saying that you're wrong in any way)

  • No no no no no, its the fast food industry's fault. They make people fatter so they weight a lot more, then that extra weight pushes the land down and the sea come up, its simple physics. :p

  • Bullocks

  • Well the overwhelming consensus amongst most experts is that sea levels are rising. Partly a simple function of thermal expansion as water becomes warmer.

  • This video is nonsense.

Google Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner, the head of the Paleogeophysics and

Geodynamics department at Stockholm University in Sweden.

He is past president (1999-2003) of the INQUA Commission

on Sea Level Changes and Coastal Evolution, and leader of the Maldives Sea Level Project. Dr. Mörner has been studying the sea level and its effects on coastal areas for some 35 years and he rejects the notion that sea levels are rising...

  • The results of the government carbon tax scam

End the FED and you will end global warming scam propaganda

  • GELUL

  • Time will tell.

Whether it's too late or not, we'll have to see.

But at least you'll be able to say I told you so to all the sceptics.

  • Google "the sea is not rising" and look where it lands you lol

Check those out, its all lies

  • global warming is happening because of the change of the planet's magnetic fields

it has happen before many times, and it will happen many times

This shouldn't mean that I agree with the dependence on oil that we have. Pollution is horrible and they should find new ways of using cleaner energies

Global warming must not be used as a way of making money like that Al Gore, it is a routine within earth's life, this time we happen to witness it from the first row

  • Someone who answers somewhat intelligently :)

Yeah, Its being used to make money, "cap and trade 101 " which doesnt do nothing to save the enviroment or make it greener, the only thing getting greener will be the pockets of these propagandists

  • Nuclear power made up GW, to get new plants of death built. In the UK, we have just had teh worst winter for 13 years!

  • No, we won't find a solution because we can't change what the Earth does. You are living in such a tiny speck of the Earth's history. It may very well have flooded the coastlines thousands of years ago. That may be a part of what happens on Earth. The evidence is there. Archeologists are finding several artifacts where the ice used to be which means we lived thru this before. The solution is to know the Earth changes and adapt to it.

  • Im sure we'll find a solution. We Dutch people can take care of ourselves, my government will come up with some genious plan to get rid of the water, cause we rock ☺

..or we'll invase Germany! Yay! Germany thinks its quite normal to invase other countries, they wouldnt be bothered :)

  • I agree with trottier1068 mortalmerlin doesnt know what the hell he is talking about with the sea level thing.

  • mortalmerlin is a retard global warming is causing the polar ice caps to melt and the sea levels are rising more rapidly every year because of it.

  • trottier1068

so you think the sea level is raising, then show me one port in the USA that shows an increse in the last 50 years

  • ty for posting this xD.

this is just perfect for my project =)

  • Thanks for the kind words about your global warming project. Patrick Dixon

  • Complete rubbish.

1, CO2 has no proven link to GW or sea levels.

2, Prof Nils Axel Merner shows GW (man made or not) causes falling sea levels not rising.

3, The Nederlands underwater, haha :)

  • Well I would recommend that you listen to more than one voice.... scientific progress is usually made by the research community working together. Patrick Dixon

  • @pjvdixon

Ever heard of Archimedes Principle? It is taught to everyone except for GW scientists and has been around for 2000yrs. Look it up:/

  • Well how about a lead author for the IPCC John Christy. Or the founder of green peace. There is a really long list of people who dissagree with you.

I would recommend you stop trying to shove your propoganda down peoples throats without understanding the first thing about it. Glasses and a tie doesn't make you better than everyone else.

You show me the proven link between CO2 and global warming or GW and sae level rise.

  • You clicking on someones youtube video is NOT shoving propoganda down your throat...

  • lol Your right there is no link, now they are trying to change their stories

  • What an idiot this guy is. He tries to make the point that heat will dry things out. But heat puts more moisture in the air, and if anything. the Netherlands will get more rain.

  • TristanPEJ, it sounds as if you have started to look at climate information, which is good. However, the amount of heat we put out is far less than the energy from the sun that hits the earth. When the fraction converted to heat due to greenhouse gases increases, that is a dramatic and ongoing change compared to the heat we produce directly. Also, the planet has in its history been so hot as to destroy a massive % of species, before there were humans. We may be headed into THAT kind of heat.

  • You are correct - water shortage will impact many nations - it is already happening. Patrick Dixon

  • Thats not the only problem. My country(Bolivia) is running out of water. The snow of 5500-6400 meter mountain will disapear. If hat happens his is oing o be catastrophyc.

  • Thanks - Well I agree that the science is complex, and that many factors are playing a part in climate change. I also agree that human beings will adjust and survive - the issues is at what cost in human suffering along the way, and in terms of wider ecological damage. Patrick Dixon

  • Hello, Patrick. Thank you for the fine video presentation and information. It is nice to say that you say we will adjust and survive. However, it should also be said that the world may be a far different one than we know, and also that some of the climate model projects are worse than that, and involve for example only the poles being habitable. MAYBE not so likely - but I feel the risk must be included in any analysis and discussion.

  • Darn typos. Again: Hello, Patrick. Thank you for the fine video presentation and information. It is nice to say that we will adjust and survive. However, it should also be said that the world may be a far different one than we know now, and also that some of the climate model projections are worse than that, and involve for example only the poles being habitable. MAYBE not so likely - but I feel the risk must be included in any analysis and discussion.

  • Yes I agree with you. Patrick Dixon

  • I've looked into global warming a tonne and I'm still beside myself on the CO2 thing, I don't see it playing as much a factor as people say, I think our land use is contributing more, the energy we release is contributing more.

  • And I'm still pretty sure that since the world has been hotter than it is today in the past that the Human race will survive it by the time we burn up the rest of the petrol and we move into new fuels

  • lastly, no one needed to ban the Horse at the beginning of the 20th century did they?
