  • European Legaci - Best Song In "Under Wraps"

Black Sunday - Best Song in "A"

  • Fantastic. Under Wraps was the last interesting JT album bar Roots To Branches.

  • Outstanding - great memories !!!

  • i think european legacy is the best song on the album. sad that they didnt keep playing it till today.

  • Yeah athrios got it right ... fantastico! Bravo!

I'd love to hear Saboteur live ... I think I have never seen it on Youtube .... but I seem to recall that they did it live once that I have seen??? Not sure it was 20+ years ago.

  • Linda música...Jethro é fantástico!!!

  • I like this song and some of the others on under wraps. its a nice driving song for the summer nights.

  • I don't like the Under Wraps album very much but this song is fucking great!

    Cheers!

  • who is the drummer in this tour? i ask this because there's no drummer in the Under Wraps CD... I suppose it's either Gerry Conway or Doane Perry...

  • I think the drummer is Doane Perry.

  • wow, a reply from BenRossington himself... I am very honoured... :)

thanks for replying and congratulations for all your fantastic videos

  • I think,i have the LP,je vais voir,but i'm thinking you'r right!

  • many thanks,for your vidéos!

  • Brilliant. I love both songs, but Black Sunday is totally catchy tune. Especially the flute solo I'm whistling whole day when I hear it.

  • European Legacy rocks..

If I were to introduce Tull to somebody I'd surely include that song.

Concerning Black Sunday: One of their 10 best songs.

  • Also, a full FM version of this leg of the tour (London 9/8/84) is available at Wolfgang's Vault. It's the same setlist as this video offers.

  • This tour (and album) are very underrated in my view...and this is from a diehard Tull fan! I love their more electronic dabblings (A through Under Wraps), and this tour was both a musical and theatrical success. Sadly, IA's voice suffered as a result of the superb singing on UW, but this is a great souvenir of a wonderful period for Tull.

  • that's true, sadly underrated

  • Yeah. Its refreshing to hear people who actually bothered to listen and like those albums. They number among my favorite, and I'd miss the dimension they add to other faves that immediately preceded them and Crest. If anything, I am inclined to write off the stuff that follows about 1993, but it too has its strong points and I still like a good number of tunes. I think A and UW have some exciting things on them, and laud the band for daring to develop their sound while peers fell away.

  • UW & A really are great albums, particularly musicallly. Lots of energy in that music.

  • Couldn't agree more.

A and Under Wraps are both great albums and progressive in the truest sense of the word.

  • i actually like under wraps, or at least quite a few of the songs...but i guess you all do around here, so i'll be in good company. one of mye eighties-tull favourites, this one. great vocals!

  • All of Paris knew that night,Tull is the best!
