I'd love to hear Saboteur live ... I think I have never seen it on Youtube .... but I seem to recall that they did it live once that I have seen??? Not sure it was 20+ years ago.
This tour (and album) are very underrated in my view...and this is from a diehard Tull fan! I love their more electronic dabblings (A through Under Wraps), and this tour was both a musical and theatrical success. Sadly, IA's voice suffered as a result of the superb singing on UW, but this is a great souvenir of a wonderful period for Tull.
Yeah. Its refreshing to hear people who actually bothered to listen and like those albums. They number among my favorite, and I'd miss the dimension they add to other faves that immediately preceded them and Crest. If anything, I am inclined to write off the stuff that follows about 1993, but it too has its strong points and I still like a good number of tunes. I think A and UW have some exciting things on them, and laud the band for daring to develop their sound while peers fell away.
i actually like under wraps, or at least quite a few of the songs...but i guess you all do around here, so i'll be in good company. one of mye eighties-tull favourites, this one. great vocals!

who is the drummer in this tour? i ask this because there's no drummer in the Under Wraps CD... I suppose it's either Gerry Conway or Doane Perry...

I think the drummer is Doane Perry.

Brilliant. I love both songs, but Black Sunday is totally catchy tune. Especially the flute solo I'm whistling whole day when I hear it.

European Legacy rocks..
If I were to introduce Tull to somebody I'd surely include that song.
Concerning Black Sunday: One of their 10 best songs.

Also, a full FM version of this leg of the tour (London 9/8/84) is available at Wolfgang's Vault. It's the same setlist as this video offers.

UW & A really are great albums, particularly musicallly. Lots of energy in that music.

Couldn't agree more.
A and Under Wraps are both great albums and progressive in the truest sense of the word.
