  • ¿En serio ese satelite seguira en orbita?

  • @A2500TV Hello.

ASTRA 1A & 1B are not transmitting any longer.

    Out of service.

    Rgds Mike.

  • @mike210476 ¿Y estara fuera de servicio para siempre? Que mal... ¿Podran funcionar todavia las frecuencias analogicas en otro satelite de Astra?

    ¡Saludos desde México!

  • @A2500TV

    Hello.

Bravo does not excist anymore. Sadly. :-(

European Astra satellites broadcast in DIGITAL MGEP. I dont think there are any more analogue channels.

  • @mike210476 MPEG

  • I love the music

  • I remember their 1st broadcast, they showed some western as their 1st program but I can't remember which one.

  • This de. confirms that TV logo's were better in the 70's/80's and early 90's

  • Can't believe Sky gave Bravo the axe!

  • Rest in peace Bravo. 1985-2010.

Or more correctly 1985-1993 as it was shit after they stopped showing the old movies.

  • I actually received bravo for a good few years before it came to astra1C satellite as a free-to-air softcrypted channel then subscription only. To get bravo I used a 1.2m motorised echostar sr5500 stereo satellite receiver linked to a pirate decoder to access Bravo on the intelsat 601 satellite at 27.5degW with stereo sound on 7.02/7.20Mhz with PANDA1noise reduction. The transmission was encrypted in SAVE encryption which the pirate decoder unscrambled!

  • If I was given the chance to revive Bravo as it was then,it would stick to it's original mix of classic movies and classic TV series mixed with classic pop/rock music videos/clips and shows from the 40's 50's 60's and 70's with regular bursts of Beat Club/Musik Laden etc.

  • Message for AnthonyUK,I agree with you Bravo was a fab

station until it changed,it was the only way to see some of the

    classics.

  • Now this brings back memories. Bravo, the days from when I was a kid. Timewarp Television at it's best. Can anyone tell me, surely Bravo today is not the same company that launched all those years ago, and show nothing but pure crap. I never understand why these TV stations have to keep changing line up, themes, and show the same bloody line up day after day. This was the best, by all counts, bring back PROPER BRAVO TV.

  • Always loved this ident. It should go back the old films and tv. Most of it's shows are on Virgin 1

  • This ident is what Bravo is not nowadays. That Ident rocks!

  • Still one of the best idents I have seen. All nostalgic now...

  • This was classy and elegant for it's time;should STILL be used and the classic programming and films should be brought back. This ident should be remixed for stereo and shown before stereo/dolby surround films/programming and a mono version for old programming and films.

  • agree with you tony this was a good time with bravo remember "the weirdness of bravo".

  • They had programme theme slots with The Best Of Bravo,The Weirdest Of Bravo and Love In The Afternoon.

  • i like that Bravo ident

  • much better than the current one

  • Lovely graphics, nice art deco feel. Not like the crap now.

  • A fabulous reminder of a time when Bravo was actually a decent television station with decent programming, and not the low-grade trash that it is now.

  • Started in 1993 on the Astra 1C satellite in softcrypted Videocrypt1 FTA and before that on cable tv in the UK.

  • I like the one with the thunderclap sound.

  • brilliant!
