kgbaker I am the wife of an underground coalminer in Kentucky our thoughts and prayers go out to our family in West Virginia anytime you have a coalminer in your life you part of a very special family. God Bless you all.kgbaker
You've sold out to Blankenship on Labor Day. Blankenship the destroyer of Mountains and Unions. Which side are you on? Well, I guess you made the no guts choice. It's not on the side of the union miner or ethical mining.
Eastwoood, you wont be able to seperate the brotherhood of coal miners...Union/non union, Massey, or whatever. All the miners in this great state are doing the same thing every day, and that's supplying electricity for you to use your computer. As for the BlackWater Outlaws...they ROCK, and I'd consider it a pleasure to open for them, someday!!! Again, eastwood...divide & conquer will not work in this case, because you wont divide West Virginia miners...or miners all over the world.
I know way too many union miners who have been thrown out of work by Blankenship/Massey who don't agree with you. Blankenship is an outlaw. It's only appropriate he would have the Blackwater Outlaws play.
I've never worked for Massey, but I've worked union, and I've worked non-union. There's really not much of a difference. Same job...close to the same pay...I really don't see miners looking at other miners differently because they're union or non, because we've all had to do both. Also, keep in mind, there are very few union jobs, and Massey is not even close to being the only non-union mine in WV. I really think you need a different angle, because I don't think you'll succeed in seperating us.
This song is appreciated by all the coal miners and their families. I'm so glad you caught the sounds of the entire audience screaming at the drunk heckler to 'SHUT UP'..... too cool!!
