Grafton Flood House going into river on Rt 121 Irene Videos

That sucks, and it happens so quickly its amazing. The flood insurance would cover the stick portion of the home, but it won't cover contents, or property. (At least mine doesn't.) I lost 33 feet of property and had to pay almost 7 grand out of pocket to have it repaired under an emergency order. FEMA isn't worth a shit, so good luck getting them to help you. Unless you are just looking for a hotel for the night. B-(

I'm guessing that raging river in the video is normally just a little creek. Was there any yard between the back of the house and the river/creek/stream? Sorry for your lost.
