His demonstration of one's attempt to "install change" I observe at least six times per day. I sometimes wonder why I haven't met anybody else (I mean that literally) who knows about NVC or the NVC society.
I am curious about Rosenberg's stance on criminal justice. If he is opposed to punishment, is he against incarceration? What would he have us do with dangerous felons?
@caseyspaos I think it would depend on the psychology and motive in whoever is incarcerating the convict. If it's done with intentions to PUNISH the con and use fear and coercion to change him, then that would be more on "violent" grounds.
@caseyspaos With an intent to physically separate the convict from civilians only to ensure the safety and health of them both, and while they are separated, work WITH the convict so the convict may find a place in mind where (s)he doesn't find that the only way to get their own needs met is by committing violent crimes. Incarceration doesn't have to be a punishment, we just happen to refer to it as a place of punishment, and also use it as a place FOR punishment, as well. It is quite debatable

Love the concept, love the puppets... it will take considerable effort to make "Giraffe" more natural, but it should be worth while. I'm trying!
