Layne's talent is deeper than most realize, Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley were the greatest of the 90's (I would say Eddie Vedder is third, then Billy Corgan, Courney Love, Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor, Chris Cornell, Rob Zombie, all the Chili Peppers, J Mascius, Gun n Roses, and Metallica,...also very honourable mention to Shannon Hoon, Oasis, Beck, New Radicals, Green Day, and of course the miracle man - Ozzy. The Tea Party represented for Canada, Babes in Toyland for mom...who did I leave out?)
This is the most beautiful tribute I have seen sp far. Def from the heart.I love you Layne Staley and my heart bleeds over your death, such a terrible tragedy!!!!!! I Miss you Layne. Rest in peace my love!!!!!!!!
Jerry sang his heart out during the Tribute Song "Black Gives Way To Blue" in memory of his friend Layne last Friday night a the Key Arena in Seattle, it wan an amazing performance and the entire concert was recorded in 3D for an upcoming DVD that will be out sometime next year but you can check out my channel for live footage that I recorded.... Check it out!!.. RIP Layne!!..
he lost his father he thought if he made it big in music his dad would come back,,he never did,,,in 1996 his girlfriend died i thin on that day Layne died two ,we all ove you and will miss you r.i.p
Not trying to criticize or anything, but at the very end, where it has the lyrics from "Died" it says "My heart is dried up, beating slow" Not tired of.
Anyways, wonderful tribute, brought a tear to my eye. =( I miss Layne..
BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE MAN! I just got my ticket to Seattle Im flying there from Pittsburgh in August for the tribute concert where i will meet his mom Nancy.
