Jesus did not come to take away the law or the prophets but too fullfill them.Alot of christians think Jesus stopped them on the cross but he stopped sacifices. What was ment by fullfilling the law was showing us how too live a christian life not in sin since sin was made through the law. Jesus Never took the Ten Commandments away, at the time Of Jesus there was still only the Old Testament since the New Testament was being written, and the Sabbanth was kept by Jesus and the Disiples.

God said that the mark of the beast will greatly deceive even the very elect. A microchip or a tattoo is too obvious. I think you took those scriptures out of context. I know some of the new testament writings may seem contradicting or confusing, but you only need to do further study. You must remember that at the time Paul wrote all of those scriptures he was dealing with legalistic Jews like the Pharisees. Some of the scriptures written were to show them that God was not a respecter of persons, he wants us all to be saved not just the Jews.

It clearly states in the Bible that He wants our Obedience through love and faith in him. If ye love Me keep my commandments and specifically in exodus 20:10,11 states but the seventh-day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. Also Genesis 2:3 says "Then God Blessed the seventh-day and sanctified it..." sanctified- to set apart for sacred use. We are to follow in Jesus's footsteps, He also kept the Sabbath while on Earth and in his crucifixion. We can in no way make any day Holy, only God can.

I am confused and I think that this is what the devil does to people, confuses us. It is something that Saturday is at the end of the week and Sunday starts the beginning of the week in our calenders. So is there any church that has Saturday as a worship day?

I think too many people misunderstand what the Sabbath is for. Yes, we can worship God everyday, but Sabbath is not just a day to go to church. Its about God. Every week we are to rest AND grow in our relationship with Him. Idk why its such a problem. Did Jesus lie, or does the Law of love fullfill the ten commandments? The ten commandments, Hebrew language version included, say 6 days shall you work. It does not say the 1st 6, or give any other referance to which 6 out of 7 these are.
If the day being (what we call) Saturday was so critical, he would have made some sort of distinction. He could have said every 7th day from creation, but he didn't. God counted his 6 days and 7th day based on work and rest.
Keeping the 2 new testament commandments (Love the Lord, Love your neighbor) fullfills the 10. I cannot kill or rob from etc. someone I love. I cannot worship gods other than God if I love him. I can't love anyone I don't spend time with. What Love doesn't tell me is which day of the week it needs to be.
Saturday requires requires some sort of understanding of the old covanent to keep. Therefor, observing Saturday is NOT fullfilled by the 2 commandments Jesus gave us.

People should study the Bible for themselves, and use Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic dailogue with it for interpretations. There is error in Ellen White's "teachings" and I have seen SDAs defend her as though there are not. All man (human) are capable of error, but not the Bible which was written by man with the accompaniment of the Holy Spirit. If the Bible states we will be judged according to the commandments then that's self-explanatory. we will be liable for accepting or rejecting God's 10c law.

That's an awfull lot of assumtions to make and the ten commandments are still a part of basic Christian law. The only Apostle that didn't worship on Sunday was Judas ! All of Christ disciples and Apostles worshiped on the 1st day (Sunday). On the 1st day (Sunday), he appeared to them (disciples) on the road to emmaus, broke bread with them, then later they worshiped him. Thomas on that same day worshiped him saying "My Lord and My God". They (all the Apostles but one) worshiped on Pentecost (Sunday).

God has always looked to our heart, our attitude in the Spirit. The word for rest in vs.9 is the same word for Sabbath in the Greek. It is a Sabbath that never ends.

1st day of the week IS Sunday. which was the day Paul preached till Midnight.

YOu have taken a lot of those scriptures out of context. Also you cannot serve everyday as a sabbath. The law says: 6 days shalt thy work, but the 7th day is the day of rest. How can you keep Mon, Tue, Wed, etc., as a sabbath, which day will you work? Will you make up new days to work? Have a 10 day week or something? Make up a new thing under the sun, and say it has been sanctified by God? In other words, you will run into lots of trouble, if you dont simply follow Christ.

God said that the mark of the beast will greatly deceive even the very elect. A microchip or a tattoo is too obvious. The mark of the beast or mark of authority has a spiritual significance, meaning that anyone who keeps man's law instead of God's will have already proven their loyalty and ultimately end up in hell after suffering the plagues he has in store for those people. Saturday is the seventh day, if you look at your calendar Sunday is always the first day.

I think you took those scriptures out of context. I know some of the new testament writings may seem contradicting or confusing, but you only need to do further study. You must remember that at the time Paul wrote all of those scriptures he was dealing with legalistic Jews like the Pharisees. Some of the scriptures written were to show them that God was not a respecter of persons, he wants us all to be saved not just the Jews.

It clearly states in the Bible that He wants our Obedience through love and faith in him. If ye love Me keep my commandments and specifically in exodus 20:10,11 states but the seventh-day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. Also Genesis 2:3 says "Then God Blessed the seventh-day and sanctified it..." sanctified- to set apart for sacred use. We are to follow in Jesus's footsteps, He also kept the Sabbath while on Earth and in his crucifixion. We can in no way make any day Holy, only God can.

There is no scriptural proof that supports the idea the Sunday worship is the mark of the wild beast nor will be imposed by the beast. This is total speculation by the SDA and supporters of Ellen G White. I also have a problem with Ellen G White's writings being used to study the Bible based on her interpretation of it. The only way to learn what the Bible says and means is to directly study it without clouding it's meaning with other people's ideas.

Typical. Read only part of a verse or take it out of context. Yeshua (Jesus) even references the Shabbat in the futue as being on Saturday. He clearly states that any man who teaches others Not to follow the least of the commandments of God will be considered LEAST in the kingdom of heaven and any man who teaches others to FOLLOW all the commandments of God will be considered Great in the kingdom of God. In Exodus 20:8-11 The term 'Sabbath' is referenced to the 7th Day.

I think too many people misunderstand what the Sabbath is for. Yes, we can worship God everyday, but Sabbath is not just a day to go to church. Its about God. Every week we are to rest AND grow in our relationship with Him. Idk why its such a problem. Did Jesus lie, or does the Law of love fullfill the ten commandments? The ten commandments, Hebrew language version included, say 6 days shall you work. It does not say the 1st 6, or give any other referance to which 6 out of 7 these are.
If the day being (what we call) Saturday was so critical, he would have made some sort of distinction. He could have said every 7th day from creation, but he didn't. God counted his 6 days and 7th day based on work and rest.

Keeping the 2 new testament commandments (Love the Lord, Love your neighbor) fullfills the 10. I cannot kill or rob from etc. someone I love. I cannot worship gods other than God if I love him. I can't love anyone I don't spend time with. What Love doesn't tell me is which day of the week it needs to be.
Saturday requires requires some sort of understanding of the old covanent to keep. Therefor, observing Saturday is NOT fullfilled by the 2 commandments Jesus gave us.

People should study the Bible for themselves, and use Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic dailogue with it for interpretations. There is error in Ellen White's "teachings" and I have seen SDAs defend her as though there are not. All man (human) are capable of error, but not the Bible which was written by man with the accompaniment of the Holy Spirit. If the Bible states we will be judged according to the commandments then that's self-explanatory. we will be liable for accepting or rejecting God's 10c law.

That's an awfull lot of assumtions to make and the ten commandments are still a part of basic Christian law. Lastly, what I meant by beating my demons is the inner spritual turmoil that we all face on a day to day basis (With the Lords help) and no demomanation makes a difference to me.

The law teaches you that your a sinner and after you find out your a liar, a theif, a murderer etc.. you accept Jesus Christ as your SAVIOR because He saved you from the DEATH of sin.

The only Apostle that didn't worship on Sunday was Judas ! All of Christ disciples and Apostles worshiped on the 1st day (Sunday). On the 1st day (Sunday), he appeared to them (disciples) on the road to emmaus, broke bread with them, then later they worshiped him. Thomas on that same day worshiped him saying "My Lord and My God". They (all the Apostles but one) worshiped on Pentecost (Sunday).

@gatorz27 If there is another day then it isn’t Saturday. There is another rest that the author is referring to in the future. The Israelites did not enter God's rest because of unbelief, not having faith but they did keep the Sabbath. They had the rules and regulations the oracles, but it was not mixed with faith. God has always looked to our heart, our attitude in the Spirit. The word for rest in vs.9 is the same word for Sabbath in the Greek. It is a Sabbath that never ends.

Hey KingdoM -- you're right. The yeast has saturated into all kinds of other Churches and false teachers.
Here's two of the latest that shocked me. . .
Chuck Missler: He is teaching on Saturday Sabbath-keeping now. He says he and his wife "observe it privately" at home.
Assembly of God: The one in my own neighborhood taught a forceful message on Sabbath-keeping last week. They promoted it for Sunday like Catholics. But, it's only small step away to change the day when they quote the 10C's.

YOu have taken a lot of those scriptures out of context. Also you cannot serve everyday as a sabbath. The law says: 6 days shalt thy work, but the 7th day is the day of rest. How can you keep Mon, Tue, Wed, etc., as a sabbath, which day will you work? Will you make up new days to work? Have a 10 day week or something? Make up a new thing under the sun, and say it has been sanctified by God? In other words, you will run into lots of trouble, if you dont simply follow Christ.

it is not wrong to either observe or not observe them. Read the whole passage. dont just pick out verses.
And also God only made one day holy and that is the 7th day in that day man is to rest. The commandment is to rest on THE 7th day and it does not imply that we are to only worship on the 7th day. We worship everyday work 6 days and rest on the 7th. Maybe you should read your Bible a little closer

You have taken Col 2:16 out of context it is referring to sacraficing things to idols read the whole passage. Yes the Sabbath was made for man not man for the Sabbath. Jesus kept the Sabbath and so should we since He made it for us.
Romans 14:5 is talking about the feast days.

@KingdoMentality, when the National Sunday Law is passed it will become a test of our loyalty. Whether to God's law or to man's traditions. Some will decide to keep the law in order to save their jobs, their families, and their lives. We make decisions in the frontal lobe located in the forehead. Some who truly believe the 7th day sabbath is the true day to rest and keep holy will still aquiese to the NSL and will take the mark in their right hand. The right hand signifies works.

@Larinalyn Exactly. This video is all wrong. You're to keep the Sabbath Day holy, period. And that day is Saturday, not Sunday. That's something the Catholic Church just did in the 300's, because they believe that Jesus gave his power to the "living church". So they made up Christmas, Easter, observing Sabbath on Sunday, among many others. Jesus did keep the Sabbath and preached as such. As far as I'm concerned, worshiping God everyday is fine, but keeping the Sabbath is more than just worship.

@apocalypse1280 No because I am not under the Old law. I am under the New covenant law which tells me to accept Jesus Christ as my savior and I will be saved. Not eating shell fish and not observing the sabbath does not keep me from eternal life. I am not saved by the works of the law. I am saved by faith in Jesus Christ.

read exodus 13:15-16, deut 6:7-8, and deut11:17-18. its not a sin to worship any day but the sabbath is a memorial to the creation week.

Corintheans, are letters of Paul who never met Jesus save for a "vision" he said he had??? However, Paul was almost killed by the Nazarenes in Jerusalem for preaching "against the Laws of Moses". Since the Nazarenes was Jesus' church, then he must have kept all Mitzvot. Acts 15:20 specifies what gentile converts are required to do in order to "enter the synogogue on the Sabbath day" to learn about God. No Sabbath = no learning about God. Sunday keeping is a "post" Jesus innovation. Apostasy.
