Hey kandee!..i have a question that I just can't seem to find the answer to any where and since ur like a make up skin care genius I figured id try u:)!. So I went out and bought all the stuff u use for foundation the loreal true match in 4 diff shades and the laura mercier. Concealer and mac prep n prime to set my makeup. I have like dry flakey skin by my nose and under my lips in between my chin.. but when I do the foundation routine it shows more if u have any advise please let me know:) xoxo

@xoRaychaelxo I have the same problem with "flakes" of skin or the foundation coming off. It means you have dry skin and need a good moisturizer. I tried it, and after a few days it's really helped. Just wash your face and put it on before your primer.

@nikilalalalala Firstly, get a good primer. BH cosmetics - $15. If you can't afford that, then Monistat anti-chafing gel is cheaper, and available at most drugstores. Same ingredients as a $42 Lancome primer, but is around $8, plus you get more. For pores damaged by acne, you could try Clinique's pore minimizer. Invest in a good concealer. Laura Mercier secret concealer/camo or Mac studio finish. Pigmentation? Get the concealer wheel in this video or spot treat with some Othine skin bleach.

Can you please tell me how to conceal freckles??

I've been told 2 use purple colour corrector, then foundation 1 shade darker than my skin, then powder 1 shade lighter than my skin.....Is this correct? Regular concealer and full coverage foundation does NOT do the trick.

I know you asked Kandee about MAC foundation, but I am in the same situation as you (but I'm 16) and what works for me is L'OREAL True Match Foundation :) It covers my scars well and it blends so good, and it doesn't make me break out or cause my acne to come back. Try it out, maybe it will work for you :)

Any chance you could do a video on how to get rid of dry skin?

I do all the usual, exfoliating, moisturizing (I use Aveeno or E45 face cream) and foundation for dry skin. My skin is fine until about an hour after wearing my makeup.. It really gets me down :(

Bare in mind, they might not sell products you'll reccomend in Ireland! haha

Whoo! Applying takes about 8 minutes for you,and you was doing it fast! Final look is good but I think you got too much make up on your face. @2A3109 Have you ever tried the oil blotting tissues. They work great at removing oil and leaving your makeup. I use them during the day and after my makeup looks like I just finished. I get them at Target.. but Im sure you can find them anywhere. =)
