I just got my "Little Earthquakes" cd in the mail yesterday, remembering how much I loved it when it first came out. "Tear in Your Hand" really hits a base nerve for me, particularly "Time to wave goodbye, now." Tori, you're absolutely wonderful--a pre-Raphaelite beauty with a voice to match.
Tori Amos is a true performer, and it's rare to see an artist completely immerse herself into a song the way Amos does in her music. It's one of the qualities that I love about her. She gives it all she has from writing the first word to a well-written song to singing it in full animation before an audience.
I simply love this footage. The interview? Ohhh my! I absolutely loved her already. I perceive her as one artist that is quite simply more raw and genuine than I could ever imagine. Soulful. Earthy. Hereinmyhead102: My deepest appreciation and thanks. Truly.
