i used to think the same thing about british teeth...until i read something in a dental magazine in my dentist's office stating it's stains from drinking tea and most britains keep their real pearly whites until the go to their graves because the enzymes in tea make teeth super strong and healthy...which made sense because it's what dentists (and homeopathic doctors) will use to pack your gums (or wound) if you get an infection.
