  • Call me what u want, but I just dont think useing food plots like they are know a days is a little cheap, I mean if you hunt on a farm with tons of acres of food plot. What do I know

  • Thanks for the info. I am planting a food plot on my property now (posting progress on my channel). I have clover on order and I need to order something for the rest of plot.

  • Very helpful...Ive been hunting deer for 15 years but have never planted any food plots. This year i wanted to plant some corn and start feeding the deer year round. I live in southwest mississippi..when would be the best time of spring to plant corn? Any tips would be appreciated

  • If your new to food plots I'd recommend planting clovers!!! The plot in the video was for my buddy, and I myself wouldn't plant corn for deer in a smaller plot like he did! You talk to anybody that plants many food plots, and clover and brassiccas like turnips and rape are the way 2 go!! Clover you should plant in the spring. Turnips and rape in late July early August!!

  • I would also say that you should use clover since they last for several years since corn you have to replant every year and clover has like triple the protein than corn does.

  • Great video!!! NIce to see a video of someone planting a food plod without expensive equipment. Great music in the background too.

  • ok good deal thanks...i bought a couple bags of evolved harvest clover and a bag of forage rape and turnip brassica...someone also recommended me planting cow peas how well would that grow in the spring?
