TVL have "implied Right of Access" only. Like a meter reader. HE can only enter if you let him in.

@JDK1981 Well you need a tuner card to be able to have tv feed into your computer and the graphics card has to be better if its going to be hooked up to a big TV screen, or it will look crappy. Even if you mess with the resolution. TV resolution needs to be atlest 1920X1080 and most computers dont come standard with this high res graphics card. There is most of the time not much problems with picture just when words come up on the screen that's when you run into problems.

If they didn't want you to watch without paying they'd simply scramble it like sky does. They need your consent to come in your house so just tell them to 'do one' and don't answer any questions.

Yes that is quite correct and is part of the MIS-INFORMATION spread by the TVL supporters. In MY setup the TV 'SET' is not able to RECEIVE a 'live' broadcast, and therefore the SET is not a RECEIVER set up for the purpose of RECEIVING and was not INSTALLED for that (receiviing) purpose. It is therefor (under Law) now a MONITOR used for the purpose of watching pre-recorded, (DVD, etc) TV and other content.

If I broadcast a signal that could be received on equipment in every home in the UK, would that give me the right to send a bill or come and poke about their houses? If they didn't want you to watch without paying they'd simply scramble it like sky does. They need your consent to come in your house so just tell them to 'do one' and don't answer any questions.

I believe that because he could not get a picture on my setup as it was 'installed' by myself, that he was trying to 'install' either software, or initiate some hardware to then enable my 'system' to beging to receive a 'live broadcast', (but I cant say that for sure 'legally').

Tricky but not impossible. There is some good information on how you can own Sky equipment and not pay the Telly-Tax on a site called christiansat., ( I dont know the exact url/web address but if you google I am sure you will find it).

@MrSlambangboom UK. Means there are no adverts on BB1 and BBC2 which is actually a good thing. The shit thing about the TVL is if you don't have one, you get harassed even if there is proof you don't have a TV or pick up a signal. Bit like racketeering. Trying to just get you to buy a licence when you don't need one.

No way, I can't believe they came into your home and touched your things! He has no right. They visited me when I first bought the property last year. It was empty and being renovated i.e plaster being ripped out in every room, nothing there no kitchen and such. I got a guy knocking on my door from the TV licence, he was old and tried to step over my door. His face when he looked in and the bare walls!

Yes that is quite correct and is part of the MIS-INFORMATION spread by the TVL supporters. In MY setup the TV 'SET' is not able to RECEIVE a 'live' broadcast, and therefore the SET is not a RECEIVER set up for the purpose of RECEIVING and was not INSTALLED for that (receiviing) purpose. It is therefor (under Law) now a MONITOR used for the purpose of watching pre-recorded, (DVD, etc) TV and other content.

i had TVL came my house i never payed TV licence 10 years give them same old crap.not give them info ,name or nothing or even enter propety. all evidence for them .only way they get you is word from you admitting it. or you letting them in house, that how they get ya. and you signing a document. dont give them nothing they powerless. no such thing as TV detection van if was they knew my cusin don't have TV. that what got me to see your video see how ppl do they aviod TVL scums

Check out UCC/ADMIRALTY LAW/ELERON LAW/COMMON LAW See where you've all been blinkered (all over the World), and hoodwinked by successive Governments.
However for those of you to 'frightened' by knowledge... I have used the TV Monitor argument for over 35 years, so can confirm that it works.
