@JSlShow I will bet it would hope up for a while. Asking if the motor will hold is all relative to how you treat the car. Any motor no matter how cheap or expensive will only take so much abuse. Mind you it would prob last longer as a daily then it would a track only car guessing you keep out of boost most of the time.
@badassxr50r Obviously, lol. But I could abuse the Evo X w/ 400WHP for a pretty long time, compared to 500WHP. I'm just asking if the engine will hold well with 500WHP. And during normal driving, I usually shift in between 3-4. I won't be running a big turbo like the GT35R, probably run a FP Red or Black.
Btw, there's a reason why there are cheap and expensive motors, the expensive one can take more abuse. ;)

Just because you put 1000's into a motor doesn't mean it will last a long time. I would think 500whp is pushing that motor too its limit in stock form aka stock bottom end. I would say 400whp is more do able for a daily driven vehicle.
@badassxr50r well it has been putting out that power for 2 years..and motor has been fine...my evo is running low 11 high 10 and has 80 k on her ..shes doing fine and healthy ..the 4g63 and 4b11 are strong motors.

U deff dont need that turbo... this is all you have to do... send your stock turbo to Forced Performance and for 1,000.00 they will (rebuild & upgrade)it..as a FP RED. or you can pay 1,100.00 and they will (rebuild & upgrade it) as the FP BLACK which is good for 500-600whp.

Where's the torque at on it? And was there any rebuilding done to the transmission?
Which dyno was used to read the power?

It has intake exhaust turbo kit intercooler and injectors I believe... everything else is stock.
