That was a total cheapshot and ended Yashin's career with the Islanders. He was on fire that year before that which caused him to miss probably 2 months and he wsn't the same when he came back.

Wasn't the biggest Yashin fan, but the Isles would be a better team with him. Kinda wish could see him out there with all the young kids. Just look at what he did for Jason Blake that year...Yashin was a HUGE part of his 40 goals.

Where is Yashin?!!? Bradley's a good guy and not known for cheap shots and extracurricular activity. Looked like he was trying to put a hip on yashin to slow him down, but misjudged the timing. Certainly not a "marchment" knee collision.
