I found that going from iPod to iPhone caused the iPod to hang indefinitely. It is possible that on newer hardware or software that none of my findings apply any more.

actually i combined ur hack with someone alses and now i get the sms app and phone app and the the things from this video so my ipod looks exactly like an iphone! :)

There are lots of good tutorials for connecting to your phone via SFTP. A quick google search should be all you need. Also, if you're asking me this, are you sure you're experienced enough not to risk having to restore your phone?

it is most likely active then, now you just need your phone's IP address. If you have that you need to deposit a file I can give you over SSH

you'd have to manually insert a fixed .plist file with the proper order

All you have to do is rename M68AP.plist to N45AP.plis and then rename N45AP.plist to M68AP.plist and then N45AP.plis to N45AP.plist and your ipod is an iphone or your iphone is an ipod

Did you notice that I said your touch would crash if you tried it? if you know your touch's IP address you can FTP back into it and copy over the backup of springboard you should have made

The problem with posting the documents is that those plist files also hold your icon order, so my plists won't work on your device. Read the video info on this page. If you don't get it from that, drop me a message or IM me and I can help you.

They aren't deleted, just not accessible through springboad. you can access them through dock.app or one of several other launch programs.
